1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

I say it's fun being stuck at work and watching people debate about how many megabytes are in the update. :D

911R is just another modern day 911 (Purely the opinion of a non Porsche nut). It's actually ok ;)

917 has a audio bug for me. Nearer to the rev limiter i get, the quieter the sound gets.

i think its more a last of the breed. 500bhp, short manual gearing, racey but loose. had pretty low expectations tbh, but i can see why it was marketed as special.

It was just the answer to all their die hard clients that didn't like the fact that the GT3 RS came with a PDK and rear wheel steer.

To me the 911R is hefty on the understeer side. By far not as pointy as the Carrera S, or even the GT3RS. I will try to get used to it. :)

As just with the other porsche dlc's this one is no diffrent..amazing!!...the 917k is a joy to drive...previously had been using a mod of that car..this just blows it away(no offense to that modder and his hours spent on it}..the detail
of the porsche cars is amazing{as other kunos cars too} ..had just gone to VR in last couple weeks and I'm just jaw dropped everytime i get in one of the cars and look around in the car...and the sounds are amazing..running in a rig with buttkickers
on all 4 corners and VR i really feel like i'm in the car and driving it...the immersion is second to none...I had been a rf2 junkie for years but this is the sim I just keep going to first...well done Kunos...

I agree it doesn't seem as pointy as the Carrera S although that may be more about driving style between the two cars. 911R seems to respond better when I am lighter on the steering wheel, finger tips almost.

Actually after driving the 911R and Carrera S back to back. The 911R seems just as pointy as the Carrera S. Although the rear end of the 911R is pointy as well, often times pointing backwards, haha.

Carrera S is like a teddy bear, poke it in the corner and it giggles. In comparison the 911R is a full fledged Grizzly bear, poke it and it takes the stick from you, rips your face off then beats you with the stick. It demands respect, ha!

Noticed the Turbo S is considerably more composed than the 911R. I imagine that has partly to do with the extra 230kg in weight the Turbo S has over the 911 R and the fixed spoiler.

Because of the weight difference the Turbo S and 911R have essentially the same kg to hp relationship. Verrrrrrrrrry interesting. 2.75kg\hp for the Turbo S and 2.74kg\hp for the 911R.

    The Cup car is delicious.

  19. The 911 GT3 Cup car is causing feelings in me that I didn't know it was possible to have about a flappy paddle modern racecar. Amazing to drive, can't wait to see it with some proper skins in the next days.

  20. Get out in the 908, do a couple laps then watch these do their thing in the replay! You can also move them in the Setup screen.
