1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

It's an incredible burn out though, absolutely nothing left...

I think you can just make out the engine block on the far left.

It's incredible that people can walk away from these crashes. Supercars almost seem safer than any normal car these days thanks to their carbon fiber monocoque designs.

@Turk: Absolutely, I've seen people die in a 70km/h crash in a Renault Clio (old one). There was a 300+ km/h Zonda accident on the italian highway a while back, and the passengers got out uninjured, even though the car was completely destroyed.

From what I remember of watching McLaren videos their chassis was so robust that they could send it to a crash test, just clean it up afterwards and send it back for another crash test, they only had one or two crash test chassis that they reused for all the crash tests. The only worrying thing seems to be if a fire breaks out that the whole car is somewhat flammable, as in the carbon itself seems to be going on fire.

Maybe he confused 30mph with 130mph.

  15. They should force people to take a driving course before buying these things... It's just too much speed for 99% of people, despite the nannies making them as docile as a Toyota.

They try that with the normal driving licence and look how well that works. Also come on! Where's the fun if some rich person buying a mega expensive car isn't going to drive it into a lake, or torque steering into a forest. Us poor people want to have a laugh you know. :D

  17. I mean as in high performance kinda course lol. At least so they have basic skills. Even more than that, it'll help them not be stupid enough to do 200kph in a neighborhood.

Pretty sure no such course would deter some people from behaving like complete twits* on the road.

*forum filter wouldn't let me spell that with an 'a'. Or cants with a 'u'.
