1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

AC and real life behavior

I see. But you're aware of the aero (and with it also the high drag coefficient of the car) and low center of gravity of the car though? Granted, I have no idea how the real car drives and I'm not trying to shoot your feedback down as you might be correct after all but it doesn't seem particularly faster to me.

Also, I did a short 100% AI vs 100% AI test with the official GT3 cars, race weekend practise at Monza (26°C ambient, green track), stock setup (AI pitted at lap three and fueled to 45l though) and the car (and another AI SCG003C) doesn't run any faster than the rest of the field, top speed, corner speeds and lap times seem to be nothing out of order and both SCG's didn't set the fastest times. Didn't do a Nordschleife test though.

I didn't compare SCG to the rest of the field, but to real life counterpart :) All I'm saying is that I have never seen a GT3 car hit 295kph anywhere, that's all ;) If you remember a while back, there was a problem with GT3 cars' top speed, so they increased it and I think the new TM fixed the old issue, so now it's overdone :) It doesn't matter, I'm still a happy costumer :D

Flugplatz is a disaster with the Glick and the GTR GT3. Seems pretty real, as the GTR went airborne there IRL.
Only high splitter settings and reduced front ride heigt to a minimum seem to improve the situation.

I think this should be the case for the whole field, as the challenging part of Nords setup is the aero balancing over bumps/crests. That's where the Nissan team ****ed up... well, there and putting inexperienced driver in the car :D Also, there could be another factor at play - wind, that is not modeled in AC. But I noticed that 650S and AMG didn't suffer from those issues in the 1.4 and I haven't got the time to test all the GT3 cars in the new update, so I don't know if they modeled the diffuser stall for those two cars (I think that is what caused other GT3s to lift the front up... otherwise I will feel like an idiot :D Also, I think that those 2 cars were a bit rushed, because 650S had downshift protection in 1st gear, so you couldn't go to N when moving... Just a thought ;)).

Wish Kunos would give Criterion a call and lend the crash physics, they ran fine on a ps2 back in 2008
