1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Goodwood....great choice with any car. @mantasisg 2, that is an awesome fun track to race with the classics...well done. The RSR3.0....love that machine and have not had a chance to drive it for a long time... you might even get @fabT out for that! And lots of Cobra lovers.... @LeiF, @V8_KB for sure.

    Ok, I'll go with Porsche 911 RSR 3.0 on Saturday and Alfa GTA, Porsche 718 RS60 & Lancia Fulvia at the wet version on Sunday.

    This combo was pretty awesome! Thruxton is such a great track, both classic and current cars are really good fun there IMO.

    BTW does anyone know how to stop those annoying streaky clouds you can see on the back straight? Hmm... maybe it is because I verified AC files with PB clouds installed.

    You can see it in the preview image above. Different types of cloud thrown on top of each other. I think it is where Steam verify replaces any overwritten files with original ones will leaving any additional files alone.

    I should be about from around 1300.

    But first I absolutely have to do the Lotus 25 race at 1200 today, first go last night was pretty good, took a solid 3rd place and a completely clean race for once!

    Ah yes I did the Jordan race last night that was good fun!

    Have you made 500 rating yet Mantas?

    As they have restricted the Jordan races to minimum 500 after lots of complaints that every race was ruined by people who cannot make a lap without crashing and are many seconds off the pace but still think they are a racing god in every braking zone.

    Yes it's a bit cleaner now but at expense of numbers, didnt get more than about 15 in last night..

    Yeah I made 500, but it didn't help for the racing though, as Nonnis come to balance things out. I am surprised that he has little average racing contacts though.

    I hope to get into server few hours later. And then more in the evening.

    Well don't look at my incident stats on SRS then, they are very questionable. :O
    So I think that statistic doesn't say it all.
    Many races I have had with like 5-10 contacts which were completely not my fault, wrecks the averages.

    The only way to keep it really low is to qualify fastest and drive away, anything else is just luck :)

    No I think it takes skill to feel the danger, it is sometimes a bit like seeing future. I also tend to keep it relatively clean when fight gets really tight, and intense. SOme other drivers become dirty at this point, really dislike those.

    P.S. it is crazy that it is snowing in Chichester now, and they are about to race bikes.

    Edit: they canceled bikes, understandably.

    Thats decent quad battle right there. The leading guy is defending really well, so perfect till he just pushes out people who are about to overtake him :D But this que was epic.

    That should be really cool, I hope people wont get afraid of their first laps which are going to be terrible for them, most likely. It starts to get really fun just as you adjust to totally different conditions. I would suggest not putting grip lower than 97, ideally maybe green improving track, and perhaps not lower than 10C for this instance. I would be really happy if we could get racing in it, would be totally the first time ever in simracing racing online with WET RACING LINE/LINES.

    I hope to join in an hour too, and then later again in the evening. I totally must.
