I’m guessing they just mean more pictures…

 

I finally get a full week off to do whatever I want, and end up going back to work the very day Nurb drops. Life is cruel.

Pretty much the same for many of us: Long Easter weekend and Nords will drop on Monday. I assume we´ll have to wait until 7 pm?

 

What bugs are those?

Wow, the details on the Screenshots on Steam are amazing!

 

The trailer video is also already visible.

 

On the Steam page on picture 23 0f 28 there's a white GT4 Camaro.
Where did that come from?
There's only the blue one included in the GT4 pack.

 

Looks like a generic livery, if you select single make with custom liveries for the Camaro, you'll see color variations of that checkered scheme:


Given that it's mixed with official liveries, maybe it was set as the player car for the screenshot, or the grid was large enough that they set it to use custom liveries for repeated cars (using options we don't have?). See the next 24/28 pic, it also shows a Maserati GT4 sporting a generic Fanatec checkered custom livery.

The 28 high resolution screenshots and the trailer are visible since yesterday and although it’s not publicly released it’s not hidden or unavailable either.

The forum seems to be seen and used by fewer and fewer but as easy as the trailer and screenshots are linked in here they can also be linked in other places as well.

So, what I’m unable to follow is the “secrecy” or, at the very least, unwillingness to have news through the official channels in first hand while schedule dates, releases, screenshots and trailers are visible and available nonetheless.

 

Kunos has always been rather silent when it comes to upcoming releases, nothing new. But this does indeed feel like the publisher did enforce an earlier release kinda.

 

It seems odd to me these disclosures in other channels without the official ones taking the lead or, at least, following very soon after (it’s already disclosed after all):
1. Nords DLC trailer visible at steamdb
2. Nords DLC high resolution screenshots visible at steamdb
3. Nords DLC release date disclosed in Digital Bros financial statement
4. AC2 EA updated schedule disclosed in Digital Bros press release
5. Nords track added in DLC disclosed in Digital Bros press release
6. AC2 EA disclosed in Digital Bros corporate overview

 

It's a bit all over the place. In some ways it's understandable. I remember when they made road maps and people would jump to conclusions and then get upset when they thing they imagined in heir head never happened. The guys at the company that used to talk to the customers about Kunos products have now left the company. Even then they seemed to be doing that on their own, it wasn't a company thing.

I get it to some extent, small company, they need to think about everything they say so people don't take them up the wrong way, but it seems to have swung too much the other way.
