1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

If you want this to be a realy good Simulation game you have to add that key ingredient that most of the good simulations games are missing.. SMOKE and TORQUE!!
I mean allmost all of the cars in this game should have no problem of doing a burnout in second gear and a lot of them even third gear!! Thats just not posible right now. you can do it with full throttle and a little bit of brake, butt with over 300 hp in a little BMW E30 it should be no problem to do third gear standing still.
I know it´s not so important for the actual high speed racing experience but it´s a realy nice thing to have as a relaxing thing, when your race isn´t going so well or even when you win the race and want to do a victory burnout!

I dont know if smoke is a very hard thing to do in games but it is always smoke that is missing when i play racing games.

No idea about that 3 gear burnout, but I agree that stock e30m3 (can't do in 1 gear) and e92m3 (can't do in 2 gear) needs some attention in burnout department

I should have wrote that you start in first gear and when the tires gets warm and slippery you take 2nd gear, and then 3rd gear with no brakes and let the burnout go as far as you can :)

Keep in mind that these are cars on tracks, not on streets, the grip levels are very different.
3d Smoke causes huge drops in framerate, which is why most games have pretty mediocre smoke. They are literally just 2d images that fade out and change sizes.

I don't really think they have a car that would do that in-game, so I have to disagree on that, alot of the cars are race cars and will catch grip very quickly.. The drift e30 can defintely burn out through second, but will catch in third.
Im sure if they added a muscle car it would have no problems doing burnouts.

Didn't think of the grip level. When i think about it i have only driven street cars with street tires on race tracks.
