They mentioned something about controllers but not specifically this, but they did say more info to follow. Todays gamers bug me, us old timers up until probably the ps2 couldn't configure button layout on every game, we had to adapt, on fifa square was shoot, on pes circle was shoot. It's as if todays gamers aren't human and cant adapt to simple changes. yes it's nice to have it how you want and should be an option today but it isn't, i had to adapt as the buttons were not tye way I have them in every other race game but it took me like 20 minutes to get use to largely because I accepted it and didn't dwell on it. if people cant adapt to this simple change I fear for humanity.

 

It is nice to have options though old chap.... I fear for humanity on many levels - but not being able to assign buttons on a controller wasn't on the list - I shall add it straight away, Thanks

 

ello staff of Kunos, first I want to thank you for delivering a fantastic game, which certainly will improve a lot, I apologize I'm from Brazil and the language barrier hinders a bit but let go.
But is not only praise I have been talking about here, I think the first update will improve the game yes, but I as a lover of Assetto Corsa, mourning for other friends to buy the Assetto Corsa but many not bought by the simple fact of not having private lobby, tenhao special attention in this matter please, I really want everyone to experience this great game. other issues as configurations of free buttons in control without pre definitions, configurations and calibration of steering wheels, has no details in hud on condition of the tires, I noticed that the 488 GT3 Ferrari not come from the red pack xbox and ps4 many are playing GT3 on xbox and ps4 about 75% of the players, and hope to guide the ferrari sounds like echoes in tunnels are not present in the xbox and ps4 entendao the pC version will be reference in the xbox and ps4 project cars will be reference on xbox and ps4 know that Assetto and higher as the game, but in configurations project cars this forward hopefully understand the criticism because so want this wonderful game is the reference of racing games on the xbox platform and ps4

So much negative and aggression for a game.I will wait for updates/patches for this to become better.I know it will and then it will be better and i will enjoy more,so until then i will say thank you to the devs and others that are trying to please everyone.Rome was not built in a day as they say........Looking forward to the future Kunos.

 

I agree with that, it's important to tell the devs what's looks wrong, but it's counter productive to do so with unapropriate language, or harassing them with always the same question (when, when, when...). We have to be patient, we need to help them with constructive notices, and that's all. Being a bully is not the good way to express anything but BS .

 

Yes. Add this mentality of "I want to see you crawling in the mud begging for forgiveness" attitude. Can't count how many times I read "Answer this question, what were you thinking when releasing bla bla...you're not answering my question!" Why would anyone answer these questions if they could spend their time fixing the problems..."Please devs, take a little time so I can insult you and then go fix the game"...yeah, right ;-)

That being said, the first wave of agression has pretty much vanished and that's a good thing. I guess people are only just mad because the driving in AC is SO good. Yeah sure...many might have returned the game in frustration but I'm certain that a good share of these people will buy it once more when it's more stable and smooth and when (hopefully) private lobbies will have been added. It's completely irrational to miss out on the best/only sim on consoles only because the start was bad.

Now I'm gonna have an after-work race

You got me, i'm discovered

 

The multiplayer experience is the best I've ever played. There is something very very satisfying even bringing the car home in 3rd place. You feel like you've wrestled that car around that track, driven it on the limit.
I love this game. Admittedly I am playing it less until the FPS is fixed in the next patch as it does spoil it for me, but by heck I cannot wait to get back on it !!
