Seems like this is exactly what he has been doing, isn't it? It looks like 'working together' is all he has in mind when he acts cooperatively with the console section (which is, don't forget, part of same company's business). When he helps people understand and like the company and its product better, he contributes for its integration and health by uniting all the platforms where its product is offered; if that's not working together, what would that be?

Now, if by 'working together' you mean segregational efforts within this or that other clan, I'm sorry to say, but you would be roundly mistaken, as that obviously wouldn't be in the interest of this company you also seem to like.

In fact, most of us on this forum admire and are willing to support Kunos. If requests are made here and there, that is something positive, since it clearly indicates interest in the product; otherwise, you can be sure there would be no request at all. Good job @kofotsjanne!

 

Ach you're just ranting. Everything you say has been said a million times before and 505 even apologizes for omissions. These days software gets released too soon in order to pay the bills - even professional stuff and this is first hand information regarding electronics CAD tools. Believe me - I'm working with pro SW and the response time on serious bug reports is way longer than Kunos' ;-)

In a couple of months AC will be far more polished on consoles with private lobbies. I don't know about the leaderboards because the PC doesn't have it, either.

And people will return. The "Damage has been done" talk is nonsense. Just look at how much credit people are giving to pCars which has been released buggy as f*ck.

 

well said, its refreshing to see a developer listen to feedback and update their product as often as kunos have done. A lot of larger studios could learn from it.

 

I finally got to play AC today after the latest update(my pedals died) and it's fantastic, great job Kunos.

I've said it before, as soon as Custom Lobbies get added you will will sell a ton more copies of the game and DLC packs.

That's not the way like customers think. I had a big understanding for Kunos in the last months because it's a small and hard working team. As i said my league mates already sold the game. 4 months without online racing were too long.
Why it's time to develop new car models but the more important feature "private lobbies" is still missing?

 

The ones that do car modells and physics isnt the same people as coding features into the game. The game wouldnt get features sooner because they stopped developing new content. And they have to eat so dlc is pretty crucial.

 

Private lobbies is the most difficult thing to integrate in to the game due to the platforms involved. It all has to integrate into Xbox live and psn and each one has their own challenges for the party systems and such

 

How do you know how "customers think"?

If your mates prefer to be grumpy and miss out on the best racing sim on the market because it started off in a poor shape then that's a self-chosen burden. They could just pretended that they pre-paid the game in August 2016 and got it delivered in, say, February 2017.

So if your mates choose to act that way I can only smile at this. With a slightly more relaxed attitude they could simply enjoy the vastly improved sim experience AC can offer. Each to their own.

 

I completely agree with everything your saying, I've said it myself so many times. A few of my mates who got rid of the game because of the multiplayer have now rebought it from various places preowned for £10 or less. For a £10 it's well worth it, and if your lucky and get a good lobby you can have a good race, no good for leagues though and there are still some dick heads about on track.

 

I just hope that we can have us Tom wheel layout and of course the private lobbies. Other stuff that you put in, improve etc is a sort of bonus to us.

Thanks Kunis for keeping us to speed. I'm happy to wait another few weeks for two great DLC packs, so no problem for me. Since the hotfix, my AC experience has been absolutely sublime. Still haven't driven all the cars, so plenty to keep me going for a while. I probably should have bought the season pass though!

 

I Think that the problem for Kunos today, is the beta tester team. Really, they release new patch that take always new problem to solve. This is bloodcurdling. My respect for this Software House that have realized one of the best commercial car simulator on the world!

 

Are there any Infos about how they work? Peer 2 Peer? Free Server Slots on where we have Access?

Got huge lag problems online a few Minutes ago even though the pings were between 30-60ms. Will Upload a Video and Post into the 1.10 Bug Report Topic

 

I don't think assetto corsa uses peer to peer servers, I think they are all dedicated servers.

I don't think that the majority of console players are coming back. The most console players give products not a second or third chance. I'm sure kunos know that very well, but even the people who still playing the game are important for the future. If you had a bad start like kunos I took a bit more than private lobbies that customers came back.
But that kunos is still working hard to improve the game shows that this little company a true hearted guys
I know other examples like race pro on xbox 360. They throw the game with bugs and technical issues on the market and never really put a hand on it after release.

 

When the Porsche pack announcement for PC was made I actually joked it would probably take until January for it to arrive on console... My guess is it will be delayed to February then.

The fact that red pack still isn't on console is just completely inexcusable. I got a season pass right after launch and so far I have hardly had anything to show for it. I remember the terrible communication and delays from the nKPro days, I guess some things just never change.

 

what are you expecting from buying a season pass... its a bundle of content released over a year we have had the japanese pack and the porsche pack part 1 and we get part 2 and the red pack in january. Do people think once a pack launches on pc its automatically ready for the consoles the only similarity between them is both xbox and pc use direct x, ps4 uses sony's own api so there is still work there to port to console and get ready for launch

 

Will we be able to have custom mapping if our controls. I would like that because my wheel doesn't have enough buttons to support all controls unlike the controller.
