1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Compare/Lap times with friends/players?

Discussion in 'ACC General Discussions' started by Mr James Antony Ford, Dec 9, 2021.

  1. Evening all...

I've just been introduced to the world of ACC and I am really enjoying it so far... Still lots and lots to learn though :)

I've googled like mad before posting this question with no cigar!

In short, I've made the move from project cars and I understand it's a whole new ball game but the one thing I am missing is the ability to view other peoples stats and best lap times etc. There are me and 2 other friends that have also moved to ACC, between us we'd compare and challenge each other's laps and discuss setups etc.
the ability to do this has helped heaps and heaps when learning and becoming a better driver.

My question is: Is there a way to do this while playing ACC with an app or website etc?

    Muchos thanks

    James

There is this tool, which provides this functionality, comparing you with your friends and even having a friends leaderboard:
    ACC Results Companion

  4. Brilliant, Thankyou.
I will take a look at this :)

  5. I have just downloaded this but I'm not great with technology... can you explain how to install it, please?

Did you get the actual version 1.13.13 from Racedepartment (free registration needed), or did you download the old version attached to the first post of the thread? Please get the actual version. ;)
    https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/acc-results-companion.28298/

It should download a zip file (ACCResults.1.13.13.zip)
Extract that zip file and you get the MSI installer (ACCResults.1.13.13.msi)
Launch this. When you launch it, it notifies, that this is an unknown software and the app has been prevented from launching. This is because it is a private project from a hobby coder without an official costly certificate by MS.
You need to click on "more information" and a new button will appear "execute anyway" which you have then to click.
Then you'll see the normal installer and can continue on.

When ARC (ACC Result Companion) is started it will automatically use ACC's shared memory, any result file it finds and (if configured) the UDP broadcasting, even locally, to gather as much information of your sessions and stores them into "sessions".

To get you to compare with your friends, go to the tab "leaderboard". When activated first time, ARC will download the "ARC leaderboard", conatining all users of ACC-RC, which did not opt out of the ARC Leaderboard (in Settings). This can take some time but will download in background.
You need to make a team where all of your friends and yourself are member.
First: Do at least one timed lap, that ARC can record and upload to the ARC leaderboard database, so you have an entry. Each of your friends have to do so accordingly. Maybe you all can have a session together on a public/private server?

After the session is recorded in ARC add a team and then add yourself and all of your friends to this team.
After that, select your team in the team dropdown to display only members of your team and you have the leaderboard for the .
You can then export it as CSV textfile to make some nice table on a website for your guys...
Or if everyone wants to have the leaderboard right in the ARC they all have to make a team with all of you being a member and then they can see it themselves and in realtime as soon as someone does a better lap time...

Here is an explanation of the Team feature: https://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/...-results-companion.59827/page-19#post-1169756
And you can always hit F1 in ARC to bring up the help. Teams is part of the help topic "Leaderboards Page"

And if you want to have a custom championship with your friends, have a look at the help topic "Leagues"

Or you could just do special events (hopefully more will get added soon but i guess you can do the old ones too, you just won't get the PC driver rating)
