H-Shifter?

There are a couple of things I dislike about Assetto Corsa that seem like easy fixes. One is the way the Course Records are recorded, though the layout is not badly represented the way it functions is awful. I also hate the fact that on the starting grid you cannot put your car in gear until the light changes (allow false starts and penalize us instead).

But the thing I was wondering if anyone had a workaround for... (of if I am missing something), how can I tell which vehicles are H-Shifters and which are Paddle? It would be nice if there was a way to filter the different types out or at least give me a visual queue of some sort in the selection menu. I like driving a H-Shifting vehicle and as it is now I find myself going in and out of the game more often than I want to find one.

 

Not a bad suggestion it shouldnt be too hard to add a basic icon to the cars preview pic to indicate ifnits h shifter or paddles. Also in the car description this info should be included on the type of transmission.

The false start thing will be included later but seeing as the only current penalty in game is the slow to 50 or 5 seconds. Would you like to be able to false start then get that bs penalty. I think unless more penalties are included such as drive through and stop go in pits there is little point of allowing false starts of there isnt a normal way to deal with that penalty wise.

 

Go to the car list ingame and click on the tags. Choose the tag with the name manual. The game will show u now every car which has an H shifter.
