1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I like the idea of a challenge, gives more sense to hotlapping in combination with the friends leaderboard.

    Just put some time in the F40 S3 on Imola, damn this thing is hard to drive :D
    A challenge like this definitely gives you more motivation to push more and more

    I have a 1:49.4 using no aids (ABS disabled) logged running this combo from the 29th of December, I might have to have another crack at it and see if I can topple that time.

    Current WR on RSR is a 1:47.5 by Ben Cornett, somehow I do not think I will be able to touch that one but I am sure I can go a bit faster, maybe into the 48's even :)

    After 7-8 hours of pratice I got 1:57, and was very happy, then realised bigbawnmcgraw had smashed my time by 5 seconds after probably doing no more than a handful of laps... he beat my Silverstone Mclaren GT3 time first lap I think. Inspiration to keep trying to go faster, but seriously no idea how you did a sub 1:50, or even how a sub 1:57 is done for that matter...

    We're getting a little off topic here and I'm sure there are other threads regarding setups etc but setting negative camber to maximum and adjusting toe (-0.15 at the front and +0.12 rear) gave me another couple of seconds. I could still do with some more fine tuning via trail and error (perhaps a little less camber at the front as it does seem to 'dig in') but the car is too much of an unforgiving beast for me to want to spend too much time on it TBH.
    I'm certainly no expert but if you're kind of new to sim racing can I suggest you start on something a little less aggressive like the Lotus's. They are great cars that give lots of feedback and can teach you (and me!) how to save spins without throwing you to the wolves like the F40 does.
