1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Hehe, its fun when developers release screenshots of one thing and have something else in there that isnt obvious. :) Like with the clouds before. This image look very crisp to me (almost like SweetFX), but its prolly just hallucination. Looks great either way.

    well, Logitech Gamepad is the best Gamepad in durability as far as I know.
    I have been broke my Razer Sabertooth and X360 Gamepad :v

    Disagree the Xbox controller is the best. Think it has the best DPI.
    I'm using the Xbox controller at the moment but I scored for next to nothing a markdown Thrustmaster 458 wheel. Ye the cheap one without force feedback. It will have to do for now till I can upgrade.

    Personally I highly highly recommend not getting a non fb wheel. I used to have one years back on ps1 and it was awful that i went back to the controller. Years later i had one that sorta had a force feedback but not really (can't remember details, it was a super cheap logitech one) and it was a lot better but not great, now im lucky enough to have a fanatec and while that is expensive it's massively different and a trillion times better.

    Have a look at the DFGT, I've never used one but heard many good things. Trust me, you will want to save for an extra month or whatever it is and get the much better wheel. I would implore you not to buy the 458 wheel.

    I had a whole set before with a DFGT and then a G27 but moved into a small place and just wasn't enough room for a setup, so I sold it. Now AC is here and I miss it but just don't have he funds to buy a setup again. I still prefer to use a controller for now, because once you've had a seat and wheel setup you can never go back to mounting a wheel to a desk.

    I think even a cheap wheel is an improvement on a joypad. I had the thrustmaster F430 FB for a few years and it served me well,it only had something like 200 rotation but that was enough for some race cars. Ignorance was bliss from my perspective. It was the best wheel I'd ever tried because it was the only wheel I ever tried. You could probably get that wheel for well under €50 2nd hand, although the pedals don't hold up to well. The wheel is very solid but the pedals are cheap.

    I upgraded to the fanatec set, forza wheel, CSR elite pedals and the CSR shifter set. If you do go down the Fanatec route you won't be disappointed but stay away from the shifter set, it's rubbish and not worth the money at all.

    Yeah I had/have the porsche shifters and it was pretty awful. Especially the H shifter, but my new TH8RS has just come so look forward to trying that later :D Already feels light years ahead with a solid construction and easy to change gear
