next Friday update Speculations

Hahaha, I remember that conversation. Just yesterday I was doing an endurance multiclass race in another sim with a few dozen other people. My "mini-game" was what is the least amount of fuel I could put in the car to make it to the bathroom and back in time during the pitstop.

In other news,
I wonder if Drift and Drag will be available in MP and how they would work with the environment (not being actual races for example).

I'm hoping for the Ferrari 458 GT2(GTLM/GTE) but that probably won't be happening since we've gotten the 312T with the last update.

 

I'm hoping for mp, even very limited vs friends. I say this because I remember reader somewhere the debs were trying to shoot for a late march release or it.

E30M3 DTM + E92m3 engine + 55' degree steering angle + welded diff + street tires

 

I am hoping to be able to perform a full race weekend, but I think it will come only on 1.0.

Also, why we won't have pitstops even on launch? It don't be need anything else than just stopping on the right spot and wait for the tire change or refuelling. Not animations, just sounds or something like in other sims.
That is a bit frustrating to me, I love pit stop strategies.

Better control for gamepad maybe?
now using Thrustmaster GPX Gamepad setting because my current setup (and X360 Setting) is make car too wild even make another setup =_=

But if we talk X Car Y Track in new update, I'll say SLS Road Car and SLS GT3

 

the mirrors issue is related to stereoscopic 3d, as with the clouds.

 

Any form of MP and some bug fixes would be nice (shift animation timing to give an example).

 

As much as I'd love to see MP I don't think we're gonna get it any time soon.
Damage and collisions still have to be addressed as well as CPU occupancy optimisation before MP can be rolled out. Hopefully these three things will be implemented/improved and perhaps the race weekend opened up for testing in the next release.

 

BTW: Would be cool if the AI lights would get on, if the brightness is under a specific value. And/Or the ability to set them on before the race.

The weather mods could really benefit from that. I really enjoy them at the moment.

 

It's all about PAX this weekend , so i don't expect much from AC. Only lotus 98t would be a great surprise to have. Or Trento

 

drifting with friends at the same time, on the drift track? that would be AWESOME! and with the right skins it could create a ton of stupidly awesome drifting videos!

 

It's time we had more control options like ignition/starter/neutral/limiter etc

No news on Facebook at this moment. Very very strange.

 

My guess is we get Silverstone National going by what I found in the AI setups folder for the m3 GT2 and 599xx

 

Thought those were in there since quite a while already... could be wrong though

 

I hadnt looked earlier was trying to find the z4 gt3 setup used in the special event as those buggers are quick, still didnt find it.

But seeing the Silverstone national track is the only track there is an AI setup for that we dont yet have its a fair assumption it will be the next one we will get. Maybe no this update but next on the list, would like anything but damage and MP with a laferrari would be a nice easter.

Giving the AI my own setups makes them quite a bit more interesting to race, and its always good to see what they use too as it may give me some ideas too.
