NVidia GeForce Experience Optimizer for AC?

Just turned on my PC and had a popup from Geforce Experience about optimizing AC:

I didn't dare push the "Optimize" button.. any advice?

 

Im fairly sure that optimize is secretly uninstall. Seriously it wont be more then adjusting 3d settings in driver to what they think is ideal. You can save your current profile if you have one and give it a try or if no custom profile try it then go back to default if it makes it worse.

Its not like your computer will blow up, but if it does then this post will also self destruct to protect the innocent.

 

Actually I just had a look and seems it just changes your ingame settings I thought maybe it changed nvidia driver profile, there is a revert option so it cant hurt to try if your interested.

That's the reason why I never install this Experience-thing...
I want to pull the strings!

 

I never install that damn thing. I've never seen any true benefits to have it installed.

 

Yup, first mistake it's installing "that thing", second it would be following it's advice.

IMO if you are still on a 560ti and not just forgot to change your signature it seems to me that Nvidia is aiming for 25fps.

 

I love the "Damn thing" makes my BF4 look Shweeet....Daaaaamn!

 

Yeah, just ignore it.

Just looked at optimal settings, and its punching well above my GPU weight.
if I went with their settings, I would run out of Vram, that's for sure.

what I want is steady 60fps (adaptive Vsync), sometimes i play in 3d checkerboard mode.

I only use GFE for recording on the fly and the FPS counter, only used game shield streaming to my mobile phone once.

if you like reflections, and are a bit selfish, its all about me and whats near to me.

try reducing the farclip (farplane) located in your video.ini (see documents folder)

Some say.....Just like a dodgy mod, if you don't like it, don't use it, recording is great with it but I think you need 6 series minimum for that?

 

Nvidia Inspector doesn't work properly with GeForce Experience installed, so I made a point of unticking the box when I installed the latest drivers.

 

My Geforce Experience popped up 14 days ago and told me it had found new games to optimize (Assetto Corsa). How come some people didnt get it until today?

One thing that I like about GE is that it shows pictures and exactly what each setting does.

 

Overall quality improvement and 87 to 101 FPS MP with 24 cars. Had to turn Reflection Rendering Frequency to OFF.
