So historic Silverstone and Monza full circuit are still on the burner

 

Was that a long time ago? The one they posted the other day is definitely the Audi Sport Quattro.

 

Audi Sport Quattro =/= Audi Quattro S1.
People are confused about this:
You've got the Audi Sport Quattro S1

and then you've got the Audi Quattro S1



And as far as I know we'll be getting the modern one (street car).
The Audi Sport Quattro we're getting in the near future is the one that has been made by Panky which was originally a mod.

 

Very much want. I know it isn`t everyone`s idea of a great track, but it`s always been one of my most driven layouts in any sim over the years.

 

Hopefully it'll be the pre 1974 layout with no chicanes.

 

Would be lovely, and I do think that is the historic layout that we will get. The woodcote chicane that was put in there though wasn`t bad at all and actually was a lot of fun and an excellent place to set up a pass without breaking up the flow. When it was altered to the bridge chicane that`s when it became an annoying chicane for the sake of a chicane.

 

I kinda wish we'd get both the classic Silverstone (with or without the chicane, they were both great) and the Bridge version of the modern track without that silly arena part.

 

Silverstone might be the old version from the 60's, the one used in GPL. It would fit well with the Alfa GTA and Lotus 49.

 

I think everyone will have a different opinion on which version of silverstone is the best. I personally like the one with the bridge chicane, that layout existed until about 1990.

 

There were so many changes to Silverstone I'm kinda curious which one you're specifically referring to:

What was the version iRacing have?

 

Easy to find: "...Five different circuit configurations, including the National (1.64 miles), International (2.25 miles), Southern (1.97 miles), Historic Grand Prix (3.14 miles) and Grand Prix (3.20 miles)"

The GP version in iRacing is the Bridge layout.

Any way to keep customers informed on what is on horizon, upcoming releases, DLCs, timeline in general

Something like this in stickies and perhaps from staff rather than users would be really great.

 

When it comes to dev roadmap I would like to see whats on the line regarding features/fixes and not just the teasing for the new content (Dream pack launch was absurd) which kind of looks unprofessional.

 

How was the Dreampack launch "absurd"? All I remember is the team releasing videos showing the different cars.

Seriously I don't think we'll see big feature changes now. I think the dev's have their eyes on AC2.

 

so pCARS just launched, AC launched a few months ago, & the devs are off working on "AC2" & pC2"??

really doubt either is anythimg more atm than, well, a roadmap.
