1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Opinions about the "Next Level Racing Wheel Stand"

Does anybody here have the "Next Level Racing Wheel Stand"? I'm currently looking for a wheel stand for my G25 because I often have to "remove" my racing wheel/pedals. I'm also flying helicopter within DCS which means I have to place the helicopter controls (which are one part).

I saw a couple of threads in this forum, but non discussed the height of the wheel stand. On some reviews, I read that you'll need a low chair for the Next Level Racing Wheel Stand. However, the specifications on the product page say: "Supported Height - 120 - 210 cm or 4ft - 6ft 9 inches". Therefore, I'm a bit confused.

I also had a look at the Logitech wheel stand (Wheel Stand Pro), but aside the fact that I dislike the bar in the middle, I simply think the Next Level Racing one has the better shifting location (lower than the wheel).

For those who own the Next Level Racing Wheel Stand. Do you recommend it and is it easy to "remove"?

I read that they changed it though. The first versions were slightly different.

I'm always on the lookout for a better solution than my wheelstandpro. My main issues with this stand are the price, seems like a lot for what it is and also the gear stick mount looks to be nonadjustable and is a looong way from the wheel, I'd probably be fishing around for it in VR!

Yes, the price is high but I look at it as an investement.
As for the shifter location....it can't be worse than being mounted on my desk.

If you're in the UK, Scan Computers sell the Next Level Racing Wheel Stand for £160 which doesn't look too much more than a Wheelstand Pro with a shifter mount.

That is better than £200! Still, that shifter mount!

I finally decided on buying this after debating for ages what to get as it is 25% off today. Looks similar to Next Level but with a closer shifter and slightly adjustable wheel angle.

I bought next level wheel stand and seat over christmas from box.co.uk. Wheelstand came with 2 shifter mounts 2 differnt sizes there not bad at all, though with the new sparco hanbrake could do with being bigger.

Funnily enough the shifter that came with the GT Omega Apex is no good for me either :D I sit in an armchair and with the frame pulled right up to the chair the shifter is too far away to reach easily. Luckily a simple bodge job with a metal bar has worked out just fine.
