1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Reduce or turn off shaking car

    Ok, to clear some things:

Shake does not shake the world, it shakes the cockpit at speed.

And, after 0.3 release, I'm a little frustrated that the camera options are the same, therefore the issues the same. It's fine we have sliders, but anything pass x1 G looks funny.
With world aligned, we still look at the car floor when going uphill and into the sky when going downhill, even when standing still. The good part is that you don't get nauseous playing it for a longer period.
With the world bouncing and the cockpit static, it feels more realistic, wheel/dash keeps in place and the cockpit G/shake can add to the speed-feeling, but the world jumping is just too much after some time. In real world the eye and brain will absorb this up and down mayhem. I like this view the most, just wish there could be a "smooth" option to the bouncing. The eyes are really at work as it is now.

I agree completely with the above post. I don't know anyone who bolts their helmet to the seat headreast, which is what this simulator simulates. "Lock view to horizon" is the perfect solution, except the stupid uphill/downhill shift.

Exactly, it's something in between those two camera options, nothing to do with G-sliders and the like.

Perhaps if Derek were to ask for a solution to this problem, it would be resolved upon his first request, as was the G-force slider suggestion. Do you mind asking on behalf of us lesser customers? :)

Is there still a way to manually edit a file to get more G? 3 is not high enough. I've tried the onboard camera ini file, but it doesn't seem to change anything now.

As I can see it, the travel on the G "animation" is locked, so 0 to 3 times G is only the speed of that travel available. And I don't think you'll want more speed, it looks stupid at x3 imo. Cockpit just jerks around like there's an eartquake. Try unticking the cameralock to horizon and put G sliders all to zero, keeping shake at x1. Works best for me atm.
