1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Request - Brake Pressure Option

Hey all, just so you know.. I did a mod in my G27. Soldered a 1k potentiomenter in my brake pedal, and now I can define on-the-fly what is the max pressure my pedal can apply to the brakes

I still prefer an in-game config for brake pressure instead of a hack, but this workaround is doing fine!

    Cheers!

We should simply ask kunos "please copy all those rfactor 2 ui and .ini options and we re do the rest" lol
but really it would be a good idea because all the things we ask from wheels to gamepads is already there.

I don't seem to have a problem judging how much to press my g27 pedal in order not to lock up...Just don't slam it, watch the corner uphill, downhill, how fast your going and what not.

  4. Add me to the list of people requesting per-car brake pressure adjustments. I've got a load cell and in some cars I have to crush the pedal with everything I've got to get lockup, some cars you just have to breathe on the pedal to go full lockup. iRacing has done this right IMO, where if you want pressure to be the same across all cars, you can. If you want each car to have different pressure, you can. As it stands, the load cell is practically worthless in some cars because it takes little to no pressure at all to induce a lockup. The whole idea is that with higher overall pressure, it becomes easier to modulate the brakes. With only very light pressure required to lock up, there is no room for modulation of pressure.

I always thought this was a beta overlooked item that would be in the final version. This is a no-brainer, it is VITAL to setting up a car.

  6. Checking in again on this topic. Still desperate for a per-car brake pressure adjustment. It feels really odd when some road cars need way more pressure to lock up than some full-fledged race cars. I don't want lockup until I get to at least 45kg of pedal pressure, and that is just impossible on some cars without a pressure adjustment in the garage.

    Yeah, +1
some cars require very little pressure to lock up, others require the full pedal travel.
Some people are saying its not required, but that is personal preference. I would certainly use it.
It was in Live For Speed, which for me was the best online racing game, had the best setup options and the multiplayer experience.
