1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Hi there,

    I know people will shout mayhem, chaos, crashing etc., but I think this would be great fun and worked well in LFS (imho):

    Could we please get a reversed grid option for MP, race after race with grid positions being the reversed order of the previous race result.

    This would be a nice option.

    Somewhat offtopic:
    Rolling starts would be nice as well. I'd stick with standing starts myself, but I'd imagine some would find it useful.

    custom gridding already works perfectly if you use prebooking. So even if it's not very convenient to do it (there's a bit of scripting to do), it's already possible to have reversed grids.

    In our AC league we run with rules similar to WTCC (2nd race is reversed quali order for the first 10 drivers) and it's been a blast. Of course a more convenient way to do it would be welcome.

    I am running a swedish ac league and this feature would help a lot! Right now we have to simulate a qualification where I tell in the chat when right driver should go and in which order, takes a lot of time.

    Hope this feature is implemented soon because the races in race 2 is always the most fun when the faster drivers have to find their way through the pack and the slower guys have more a chance to take some points :)

    as far as I understood Stefano would like to implement an option so plugins can influence the starting grid. This would then open the door for things like reversed grid.

    And also the most sensible thing he can do. Whatever (closed) solution he will come up with, people will instantly demand 15 slightly variations. Plugins can do that, Stefano won't.

    Good for closed Server Races, but in an open Server i think nobody will drive a Qualification.

    But i like the Idea too

    edit: ah my misstake... you mean double races!

    Many LFS servers were running no qualification at all. The fast guys from the last race had to start from the back. A lot of fun with lots of action :)
    But it only works if the guys in front know how to use the mirror while the guys from the back show respect and patience.

    Although an old post, can I please raise this again for MP. Trying to do it manually (calling out names over Voice chat) is a pain in the you know what.

    This would be a serious game changer for Multiplayer League Racing.
