1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    The car pack should be a single .exe, the track pack is an .exe a bunch of 001, 002 (etc) files. The BTB Track Pack files are also just .exes. Make sure you're downloading the complete car pack, not random ones.

    Make sure they're in the same folder and launch them.

    yes, exactly. car pack is a single large file that i DL. it is an executable file so that's no problem. now, i am downloading the track pack.

    The complete carpack as well as the separate car-packs (and track-packs) should install automatically if following instructions properly. Those are .exe-files and uses a GUI-installer. Other single files/packs may need extraction to ...\RBR(gamefolder)\RXRSRBR or RX_CONTENT\Tracks\ for BTB stages (don't unpack these archives). I made a short "how-to" some time ago. Not sure it applies to 2015, but have a look and see if you're missing something obvious. Also, read the instructions on the rallyesim.fr homepage.

    ok, i think i have things figured out. there is of course an RSRBR exe. file. a single (large) car packs file, and a small track packs file which is an executable file and a bunch of file chunks that go along with it. my question is: should they all be in a single folder?

    it's quite simple really - download all the files to the same folder and run the exe. The exe will pick up all the parts and install them to your chosen directory. If it fails, you've missed something. with 2015 being new, it should be Full car pack, full track pack, main installer, patch and a couple of car packs which you install after the patch (the patch says which ones)

    You need all the files, then follow the install order on the ralleysim site.

    Basically it should go;
    Install RB Rally
    Install 101 patch
    Install 102 patch
    install RSRB2015
    Install Car pack
    Install Track pack
    Install Patch
    Install car packs AFTER patch

    Here's my download cache (ignore gimpenb and particle mod - not required)

    ^^ That's it. Not really sure where you are failing in the process. Start over with a clean install and follow Champion Hero's steps (above) after looking at his file-collection (RSRBR2015.PNG).

    In the same folder as the trackpack exe installer. Literally, download all the files to the same folder as above. The exe automatically extracts the bins

    It's the grass that's the most deadly! Not sure what the Japanese use to grow their grass, but I'm pretty sure it could be used as a car wax to reduce drag :p!!
