1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Probably just a scratch on your eyeball?
    Maybe a faulty TV?
Maybe its a faulty GPU in your ps4?
Try replacing your HDMI cables with $250 ones. Hahaha. All the sort of things the fanboys say. Gotta love em......(or not)

Yes. The graphics are ropey, but, if youve played it on pc before then i wouldnt be surprised if it was a £100-150 graphics card at least in the pc. Ps4 doesnt have that but admittedly other racing games dont suffer on ps4 with this so i'd say just wait for an update. Sometimes when i leave the pits i stop the car and just stare at the building's shadows shaking away on the ground. Or the lines coming and going that denote the edges of the pit lane. Really shakey. Devs will likely sort it though. They're good with pc updates so hopefully be good with ps4 as well.

I am also surprised to see bad framerates in replays. Sometimes I think gamedevelopers get lost in trying to make a game have better graphics and visuals, than actually making sure the game runs smooth. I actually give a s... if a tree on the horizon is not 3D, antianalyzed, Zhepyred, dipped in crystal or whatever the terms is used. Even with one car on track, the framerate is bad. It takes away the joy of this game for me, because replays is very important to me. Sound is also not always very good. When shifting gears in replays, it sounds like automatic transmission. However, apart from these important issues, the driving is good, slow motion replay is a great feature and so on....

I've come from playing it on a GTX 970 in my old PC. The graphics are not too bad on the PS4. However, it reminds me of when you need Vsync on the PC. I feel like its the frame rates bobbing up and down a little.

graphics weren't what you were expecting? then buy a PC. I'm sure the devs did all they could to get the best visual performance out of the PS4 while still keeping the physics model the same as the PC, and don't exaggerate, it's not unplayable, the replays look fine and so does the gameplay

Not having the game on console I wonder if maybe they should just cap replays at 30fps add some motion blur and it would look better then if the game runs at 45-55fps which may be the issue.

Here is a video I made captured at 60fps on the PC version from our recent league season.

Here is another at 30fps from the latest build.

I think if they are struggling for 60 in replays going to 30 would be a better option then not quite hitting 60.

If you play from cockpit view (as you are supposed to in a sim :D), screen tearing occurs much less frequently than in other views. Also, frames per second seem to be a bit more stable. I reckon it has to do with the smaller field of view in cockpit view (I left my FOV settings at default).
And who needs replays? Gran Turismo and Forza have great replays, and that´s because they´re car porn games, and a lot of time and effort goes into making these replays look awesome. Assetto on the other hand is a car sex game. Difference? You watch porn, but you have sex!

Not sure how thats related to frame rate but most possibly the videos your watching aka "you having sex" are at 30fps. :D:p

OOPS! Think I posted in the wrong forum....
Well. However, I sometimes feel the that when a game feels realistic when driving, it also looks good in replays. Not the case with Assetto on PS4. But, what can I do? Bought the game, the developers made some money.
Wonder if there will be updates to correct this?

Cant speak for console improvements but on PC the game has already had a good couple years of development and its been getting better overall. No chance the devs will abandon ship and if they can get it to run better on console then they will.

Performance issues on consoles are a different thing though as its on limited hardware where on PC it runs great on mid to high end gear. But even on lower end setups people can just turn some things down to get reapnable performance.

But the replays do look good. The way the cars move in game is perfectly translated in the replay. Never have I seen a replay from a driving sim where the cars react to bumps, kurbs and the drivers inputs with such an accurate depiction of size and weight. The car's move around like... well cars.

The only problem I have is with poor frame rate stability and screen tearing... this is being addressed by the Dev's as per their most recent Facebook announcement.
