1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    This is an excellent addition. While I appreciate the downshift protection feature I was a bit confused early on while driving the M235i at Nords and noticed I wasn't able to downshift at certain times. I initially thought the problem was with my G29 paddles, then later after a few tests in other cars and making note of the RPMs when shifting I realized it must be some sort of downshift protection.

    Always appreciate and enjoy a new update - I have to admit, many of the changes this time aren't super exciting for me (relative to some of the big hitters we've been lucky enough to enjoy as of late), but I see plenty of others getting excited about various things which is great to see - and besides, too many new features means I get distracted from working on my mods :p

    I am however greatly looking forward to driving both of those Mazda's. I never experienced the original mod versions, as by the time I was aware of them it was common knowledge that they were being made official so I held off. I especially don't know anything about the 787 so looking forward to seeing what's what!

    It's the 1st step to a more complete driver swap functionality: right now setup will not be shared (can be solved using server fixed setup system), the new player will have a brand new car and mandatory pit will not work (yet).

    In order to have a more detailed system lot of time needs to be spent and structures need to be redone. Hopefully we will be able to add it without braking everything, but no promises here.

    You manually disconnect and the race can be continued by the other player. It's quite basic.

    - Added Mandatory Pit: a pit window can be added to the race session. As a design choice, players need to stop at their pit box within the pit window to have a valid pit stop. Players with pit boxes further down the pitlane need to take this into account before deciding on their strategy. Players may make additional pit stops before and after the pit window, but only making a mandatory stop in the indicated pit window will validate their race. Server admins must decide on a pit window that allows all players, regardless of their pit box position, to comfortably make a pit stop under normal racing conditions.

    Just wondering reading this, I am really glad to have mandatory stops added and a pit window plus likely extra bonuses :D I wonder if its not possible to code this in a future update where pit window would register the lap a driver enters the pits, then even if they have a pit box after the line it could simply register if they did the mandatory stop before exiting the pits even if that is now the next lap? It seems the issue is the lap count will change for boxes after the start line and this may be a bit awkward especially at tracks where the start line isnt that well marked like Monza for example.
