1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

And commentators ironicaly said that formation lap was clean.

I'm quite surprised that they even race bikes there.... RIP Daniel Hegarty

Adding ridiculous chicanes and huge tarmac runoffs to other tracks, while racing at circuit like Macau is something like double standart. I just did a quick search, it is like nothing but crashes are happening there.

I guess you watched the race, did it ever resume or is there no point searching for replay of the whole thing?

  10. Macau is the dumbest GT track in existence. Quite how they haven't worked this out yet is beyond my ability to understand

It is like Justin Bieber of race tracks. Not exactly that good, but because "interesting things" it is popular :)

But I'm pretty sure it is blast to drive, but perhaps just that.

Its not stupid, its immensely difficult, that is why its the race of champions. There's no margin for error, its ether win or that. Track itself is fantastic to drive on, when you learn it.

I agree that it must be great fun to drive (racing is a bit different), but here are some improvised jokes:

Macau is that kind of track where you don't see yellow flag.

Entering a curve at Macau while Two wide.

One big pit entry, with a slight straight and then an actual pit entry.

Hitting the apex at Macau, really hitting it.

Applying the long sight technique at Macau.

Could be used at school as ilustration for kids what cholesterol is.

I don’t get it as a race track, for a time attack rally type event then OK.

The hillside section is just too narrow for more than a single car, the waterfront part is boring.

Frankly I’d take Macau every single day of the week over one of these modern tilkedromes which 40 acres of tarmac run off at every corner. Drivers have it far too easy these days, Macau is a reminder of what racing should be about, being a driver challenge.

done on slicks. It's a silly comparison, since the tyres present such a huge advantage. it's like a megane cup car can beat a 911 rs, just because of slicks.

Most modern tracks are so wide with excessive runoff yet they still dont give much of a chance to pass other cars. At least a place like Macau shows who is the best driver with no margin for error, real precision needed and using all the track is a skill. Modern tracks people just abuse track limits chuck it into corners over commited and if they make an error run 10m wide with no lift or even time lost in most cases.

A proper street track like Macau if your going to push the line you better nail it every time or its race over. Racing there is also great as you need to do all this while trying to race others and Macau probably has more passing opportunites then many modern tracks do per lap. Just the rest of the lap making a move is not as likely but you still need to be good through that to get into a position to pass in the lower more open parts of the track.
