Too many drivers who crash on purpose

I'm sure there are others like me without a set time to get online, and unable to commit to joining a race ahead of time - to whom public servers are the only option.

It is therefore good to see efforts like minorating at cleaning up public servers.

I have never raced in a league and race exclusively in public servers as well. I was just trying to point out the absurdity in joining non Minorating, low Minorating grade or poorly run servers (normally because they have 23 players in them) and then complaining about poor races or wreckers in online servers. As far as I am concerned these people are just enabling wreckers to do their thing and A graders regularly joining low grade servers are devaluing Minorating by ignoring high grade servers for lack of players, leaving them less populated and causing even more people to follow into high populated poor quality servers.

If the majority of players raced in servers that allow their grade and above only, then those wreckers and more careless drivers might have to change their ways/improve their racing to join a well populated server and the experience would be better for everyone.

 

So AB would mean only B drivers since A drivers are on A servers (and so on...)?

Just as ABCD would be D drivers. It isn't like it's a skill thing, if you are careful & respectful of others on track it is easy to be A grade. I dont see the point of Minorating if people just join random servers and ignore the concept. What good is the stick without the carrot?

 

I think i can understand... that guy "1 2" had no idea what racing is. For unknown reasons he did not move against me, but others kept on getting crashed off by him.

I do find it very amusing the violent defense of use of stuff which is not part of AC and thus requiring/requesting all ppl must use non-supported features and therefore AC should not be improved and AC cannot be at fault.

 

Minorating does help, but does not guarantee good behavior,
this race i was already banged off by guy/girl not using helicorsa, look at the defending tactics of this example later in race on minorating server:

@Bas B: What about you banging into him in the braking zone and later on messing up the line while oversteering and violently countersteering, that's why he crashed into you, don't think it was intentional .

 

I always wondered why the majority didnt see the advantage and main purpose of MR, looking for the strictest server they can get into. This should ensure people no worse then them in traffic would be in these servers. Getting and maintaining A grade isnt hard for many drivers so why they would want to drive with people that cant easily maintain this level always confused me.

Ive given up trying to wake people up to this and just do my own thing, if others cant figure out how to use a system like MR then its their loss not mine.
