1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Hi guys quick question if I may.... Cpu temp is around 50 degrees celsius(120 F) and gpu temp is the same when idle, is this fine ?

    I've noticed when in AC it goes up to about 70celcius... Are these good temps ? Would like your feedback please :)

    Yeah, 50 C is practically cold for a CPU/GPU :) It's perfectly normal.

    The thermal limit for most CPUs/GPUs is between 90 C and 100 C. You don't want to run your equipment at those temps though. That's the upper limit where you can see immediate damage. Ideally, you want temps at or below 85 C. As you probably figured, that makes 70 C really comfortable.

    The thing to keep in mind is that excessive heat shortens the life of a CPU/GPU. As you push past 85 C, the effects begin to accelerate (it's non-linear). If you edge past 80 C, keep an eye on them.

    on a similar note...
    Does running the CPU at constant 80-90% during gaming run any risk of damaging the CPU? or is it ok as long as the temps are under control?

    Temperatures are what matter. Microprocessors are "solid state", which means there are no moving parts to wear out. The only concern is a change in chemical structure. Heat causes (or accelerates) changes in chemical structure, which is why you can run a CPU at 100% all day every day, so long as you keep it at the correct temperature.

    Think of it like this. If you heat a typical sheet of paper to 50° C, nothing happens. If you heat it to 200° C, you'll see that it starts to turn brown (a chemical change). If you heat it to 250° C, it will be on fire :)

    AC was working fine on PC other day but now whenever I try and click start after choosing car and track it just loads track n car and then back out onto the car/track selection screen

    Do you use the native resolution of your monitor? Have you downloaded any mod apps? Is it happening with official content?
