1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Ran the benchmark with and without oculus vr runtime service running. That affected the result a bit. I average at 220FPS. The benchmark does not push the CPU as much as I would like and I therefore think this is not a good test for comparing with Assetto Corsa VR multiplayer-performance as CPU is used a lot for big-grid physics.

Is the download page just wonky? Very inconsistent speeds and it canceled the download at somewhat like 60-70%.
    Will try again later though.

Try VR optimum preset since this is what we are all benchmarking.
Did the Oculus runtime make it go slower or faster? :p

a few frames faster without the service. but maybe its not affecting much if the glasses are 100% off (idle)
    here's my optimum results

Does Superposition actually benchmark a system running a VR headset? I haven't forked out the $20 to buy the advanced version. The standard version does a challenging benchmark on conventional systems but all I see is a 10,000 score on the all VR systems.

At least VR Future preset give some load on the gpu. I don't have plan to upgrade my rig or use VR soon, I'm still very happy at 2560x1440 with 144hz

This is the optimum preset, big fps but crappy look

Installed this last night but haven't had chance to run it yet.

Been trying to find out if it incorporates VR-specific stuff like Nvidia's SMP. Seems a really obvious case for determining how much improvement it might offer.

did a quick google search and it seems to be issue with msi afterburner. I dont know if it works with your card but if I set the overclock in msi ab and then quit with [x] the overclock is still active. You can try that.

  12. My HD7950 resist again around 60fps :D btw the cpu core speed is wrong, it shows default but I'm around 4,4GHz.

  13. I bought it used more than a year ago. Stable at 4,4GHz daily, no blue-screen, from windows 7 to windows 10 both. Superb..

note the gpu never crossed 90% - super odd test honestly, as this isn't really giving us the sorta details we need for a real comparison.. just straight math suggests I could get 217+ average fps if the gpu was running at full.

I can overclock this more (just under 2000hz) on the gpu but the fan then runs at +70% and is fairly noisy and it doesn't seem worth it for another 7-9% performance... same with CPU which I have at 4.2 but can go to 4.5 with the same basic issue of heat/noise/performance ratio..

It seems like it's not an apple to apples comparison between the Vive and Rift also-- 2.5 vs. 2.1 MPs (resolution per eye for each frame), respectively. So 195 Hz x 2.5 MPs = 488MPs/sec vice 410 at the same FPS w/ Rift.

Yep, that's even more silly.. But here it is with the oculus instead of vive - with that I've got another 18% for the gpu to be throttled
