Generic Update v 1.03 is available to download on Xbox One NOW!

Sad to see the red pack still not being available, couldn't care less about some japanese road cars. I don't get it, it's already part of the PC version what makes it such a task to include it on the x1?

 

Do you say Dlc with more cars, content?

The game is so smooth now ..... what a pleasure.... the ai feels more human (medium is my new level now) , and some special events (hotlap in my case) have been rebalanced......Even if the gold medal is for the hard sim racer but it's good for me. So....a GREAT THANKS !!!!.

I forget : the black cat track is trully fun to race.... Keep up the good work.. and japanese pack in progress...

 

sorry but you have made the game unplayable for the 4 of us this is a down date whens the next one cant come soon enough
pad settings are realy bad I had it perfect before the update now nomatter what I do I cant get it back
to twichy at speed or to slow in corners when it stops cant load any thing ealse up got to unplug it from the wall not enough testing done ill do it for nothing

I had a feeling the Xbox update was possibly stalling/or not the release of the porsches.

don't touch in Gama settings! (1.03)

change gama = broken control = unplayable (ultra sensitive, pulling to the sides, just can't drive)
the bug occurs when decreases the value gama
example: of 3.0 to 1.0


Let in 3.0 (default) until the next update.
After broken control, control reset does not solve
you have to delete the save (even in the cloud) and set up again

The pad steering is now completly broken! I have not found a working solution for any track and car. The old pad steerirng was near perfect (mich better). Now it is unplayable and has destroyed the game for me.

 

that's me done for this game ill wait for the next update in 3 months maybe
1 more thing when I exit the game iv got reset the xbox to put anything else on or they just wont load

Great update ! And for those who try to play this game with pad: folks, this game isnt meant to be played with a pad but with a wheel !!! Its a simulator for gods sake !!!! Fanatec CSL f.e. Great stuff.

 

console come out with pad for default .. so a game on a console MUST work with the pad for gods sake.

 

Your answer makes lots of sense. But actually, I believe this game will never be really enjoyable with a pad. All the subtle sensations one could get from its amazing physics are only noticeable with a ffb wheel. I've tried to play it with a pad and, although I managed to handle many cars relativelly well, it was another game altogether, far from being trully enjoyable. So, if you are not only a casual player of racing games, getting a wheel would be a great investment. But if you play it only once in a while, sure the pad is the best option; but then, maybe Assetto Corsa wouldn't be the most desirable choice. From the games I've played with a pad, Forza was the best of all, in spite of being awful with a wheel - the exact opposite to AC...

 

I disagree with your personal opinion. Mine is: AC handles very well with the pad when it's properly set up. When on the move I play with a 360 pad on the notebook. It's great and if you set your FOV reasonably plus have your pad dialled in the sensation is not much different than when playing on my main rig. At the end of the day decent physics will always handle better on the limit than poor or superficial physics.

That being said: I couldn't really get along with the pad settings in AC. On the PC I set up the pad as custom wheel and it's fantastic.

im not " casual " gamer ( for me they are who like nid for pizza and similar ) but not everyone have the space to make a weel setup in bed room... as i said if is a game is put on console must have to work with a " default setup " for console... and before this update i played for hours everyday..now well ..less enjoyable to me honestly

 

DO YOU PLAY SHOOTING GAMES WITH A GUN OR A PAD etc.
a sim is iracing not this
it has 3rd person view bonnet view damage is poor which is a good thing at the moment
hopefully private lobby's will sort that out
but for console gaming I think they have almost got it spot on
1 in 10 people who bought the game can actually play it properly
every one wants win on the first corner they think there doing a 3 lapper around forza
after 3 laps they haven't got the mental stamina to keep going that's if they make it 3 corners

 

Oh well, this one I didn't know. If they have managed to implement a great physics for the pad on the PC version, maybe it's just a matter of patience until they do the same in the case of consoles. There are also other aspects that have to be improved on consoles, such as engine sounds, for example. But since this version of the game is just an infant, and it has plenty of potential to become nearly perfect when fully matured, I believe it's worth waiting patiently until the present issues are sorted out. Sure it is! It was very well playable before this patch and is now broken as the speed steering setting doesn't work anymore and it behaves that same worse if we use 0% or 100%. It is all the time much to sensible on high speed.
