Looks like you are only running 60% turbo pressure. Try to put it to 100% for your hotlap. You will be much faster then.

Just to say I participated.. 3-4 laps on Monday hopping I could go back but didn't happened. Still fun but concentrated... Fantastic entry from Ac7d, welcome to the WHC, really impressive. Settling slowly in the job but still don't have much time. Life is good.

A little faster than 2017.

Back then though I was using the ds4 controller. It was also the first challenge I entered so I tried hard and persevered to get under two minutes.

Now I'm using a G29 with clutch & shifter. It's a totally different experience (much better) but isn't comparable.

I do find it much easier to handle with the wheel; I rarely spin it and downshifting seems very easy to throttle match. It just has to be done so quickly that it's easy to get something wrong and blow the engine.

This car is separator. Time gaps from those who can to those who can't are huge. The Sauber does the same thing. It's a pretend F1 car though. It should be hard to drive.

@Ac7d aka MrCiey is that man! Well introduced by @bennorz. It is MrCiey’s debut WHC and he takes the top spot. Congrats and superb lap time! Under 1:50 is absolutely mega. P2 goes to super rapid and podium regular @Caly82Race with a ‘52.6 and @F1415182235 is back to take P3. He is 5.5 secs faster than 5 years ago and has upgraded to PC. That must count for a couple, good to see him back.

Elsewhere this week, it is amazing to think that five years ago @moodyryder managed a sub 2mins with a hand controller and thanks to @Laughing Gravy for laugh of the week! All though the years have clearly taken their toll, his modest candour is most admirable. I would like to see him at 100% turbo though.

Moody rocks it! The competition didn’t even bother to leave the pits! Well done to him, thanks for his long-standing support of the WHC and he also gets the Both Challenges prize! That deserves a cup of tea mate! (I have noticed one of the regular competitors here spent a lot of time on GT7 last week.)

Onto WHC 266 for a run around Laguna Seca in a late ‘60s Group 4 Sports prototype and a German flavoured ACC, with the Audi R8 at the Nurburgring GP.

 

GT7 may have taken my attention this past week! Havent had too much free time otherwise.
