1st practice and I am 3 secs faster than my best 5 years ago.
Default set up, apart from a tweak to the gears and tyre pressures.
Anyone got a console friendly set up? I suspect that may be worth seconds.

Next thing... HOLY MOLY! This is insane and intense.
Pouhon, lift, then nail it, Eau Rouge and Blanchimont flat.
What a ride!
You may be shaking a bit after your lap!

Also, with damage on, I have been through a transmission by Les Combes and the motor (full fat) will last for one lap....

Well, 5/10ths faster, but have a look at the comedy lap!
Following the very embarrassing-but-easily-done start there are some huge moments!
Having said that, there's room for improvement, but where do I find EIGHT seconds?

I am still in practice mode btw.

Ye, but I'm totally ouf of my element with that car&track combo
Took me ~20 laps of death and destruction just to get a time at all

Struggled a bit on monday but today was much better.
First lap 1:50:344 but i don't have time to improve today maybe at the end of the week.

We're not all retired ye know.

 

Send help! I keep spinning entering the Bus Stop at the end of the lap.

I'm down to 1:55, so a 4 second improvement.

 

I've been busy with life and work and maybe gt7 lol.

I hopefully will get some time

 

So I forgot to add precipitation so I asked Totall Wrytoff to edit the first post but here's a screenshot of what the ACC challenge should be

Amazing lap time, that's huge!
It beats the previous WHC best of 1:50.4, many congrats!

Haha! Same here. I've increased the coast diff and upped rear rebound dampers, but the trick is - as you complete the 1st turn in, you have to steer immediately for the left hand apex and (very, very gently) keep on the throttle. I found that if you turn in to the right hander and lift, to change direction into the left hander, you spin.
As you can see from my vid, I also spin coming out of the left hander as I get onto the straight!

Perhaps @Ac7d can give us some tips!

 

Bus Stop is tricky because its pretty bumpy.
If you struggle with initial turn in try less rear rebound or shift the break balance more to the front.
In case you struggel with oversteer overall try to soften your rear arb.
But remember that even if that might help you in some corners it potentially can hurt you in others.
In turn 10 for example a understeery car will cost you a lot of time.
Changing the driving style in some corners may also be a solution.
