1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Thanks for help ... AndyK70 ;)

P.S. I cannot sit any closer for a Wider FOV due to physical viewing issues (https://stari.co/tv-monitor-viewing-distance-calculator#note-107-3) which I found to be quite true. Hence TrackIR (for better visualiztion/immersion), since I cannot deal with the VR sharpness issues among other hardware/technical too numerous to mention IMO.

Everything is a compromise, just need to find what works best for you and your budget. :)

Yes, it is. But not really what I wanted to see, as I wanted to compare with smaller screens on triples, and easier to see where parts end on actual screen, so his photo w/ the bezels was fine. Still correct, nonetheless, but photo was simpler.

Thumbs up for trackir together with the ultra wides. I’m 32:9. It’s a really good option.

Could I ask for a favour? I am on the fence to buy a screen and can not decide between 32:9 and triple setup. Could someone with a 32:9 screen take a picture with a FoV of 28?

Using my 65" TCL 6 series TV. Not ideal as its native 60Hz but its what i have. Moving here soon so hopefully getting a monitor then.

    I'll probably get a 34" ultrawide 1440p 144hz monitor. Msi or Gigabyte both have a $400-500 model

Maybe I'm just nit-picking but you calculate FOV based on how far away you are from the screen, one user might end up with 28 and you'll be 32.
Here's a site that helps you calculate the correct FOV based on distance from eye to screen.

    Thank your for your post.:)

I know that calculator and used it to set up my FoV on my current 24inch screen.

I plan to buy a triple setup or a 32:9 inch screen, I still can't decide. For my current screen the calculator gave me a vFoV of 21 and it was too low for me, I settled with 27. The calculator also shows 21 for the 32:9 screen setup and I think I will also settle with 27. I am just curious what is visible on the 32:9 screen with a FoV of 27.
