At least during that 13 secs video we don't have to get his usually rude manners.

 

He's a good streamer, a professional and great racer and fun to watch, it's a shame that a game based around the format he races in, and a game he appears in he dislikes so much.

I do hope kunos fix the kerbs as they are silly, the behaviour is so bizarre it's just jaw dropping. Driving over a kerb at 30kph with traction control and ABS etc should not cause you to spin into 2 360s and off the track into the grass for 200m and into a wall....

His approach is perhaps dramatic for entertainment purposes, but he is not wrong.

 

Mostly I avoid the curbs in ACC and then on TV I see the cars taking each curb without any problem, so I guess Thiim is not wrong in this case.

 

What do you mean? See a guy farting and belching during a video its good with you?

The curbs issues is their but massively exaggerated, i can molest the curbs in ACC .

Sadly the obnoxious tool is a fairly fast Austin Martin GT3 driver who races for R Motorsport in Blancpain if you didn’t know, he is actually in the sim himself

 

Afaik they are getting closer to "fixing" the curbs with some changes in the tire model. The issue has been planted very deep into the physics engine so just changing a few values in the code won't do it. I'm not too plagued by kerbs, they are def more punishing than AC curbs but yes, not as bad as people make it sound.

 

He he. I now who is him. I am not putting his talent in cause. But for shure he have other talents like by an stage comediant.

I’m having some odd behavior when coming into the pits. I keep getting dumped to the pause menu. Not a game breaker, as you can just hit Drive and resume the game, but annoying. Initially it paused when i pressed the starter button to get going again after refueling , so I thought it was some sort of mapping error. So I remapped that key and now it pauses on a whim while in the pits, not when I hit a button. Very weird - anyone else get this? I have not updated to 1.06 yet.

 

And to vary I would like to see him racing at one ACC server.
If I couldn't delivery, he always have the kerbs issue TM excuse.

 

Nicki is hugely committed to iRacing. Even when he did a Porsche cup comparison ages ago with a few sims he praised AC’s tyre model and rubbished iRacing’s but still gave the overall win to iRacing

Afaik Perel hasn't spent much time in ACC. Hopefully he'll record some gameplay when he gets going with it. Get a honest take on the quality of the sim.

 

He said acc will be his main game when he gets pc and a rig... because ACC tracks are spot on and he can use them to practice tracks...
