1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    but if you need a new wheel, at least most already have a g25/g27 manual shifter, or dfgt sequential. But are they even compatible?

    Then again you could describe the DFGT brake as nonlinear - first half is just the spring, second half has a little rubber bumper or something that it also squishes. It does kinda feel like a real brake pedal (well, in cars I've driven - maybe sportscars are less spongy) until you get in game and the travel doesn't map anything like a real one.

    Could it get cheaper on amazon and other stores? Has always been more expensive on logitech website. You can find much cheaper new g27 at Amazon than at logitech webshop.

    Same gearbox(base) from what I can see, so same mechanics and FFB as the G27. Disappointing I guess, but on the other hand I have little remorse for buying my G27 6 months ago.

    I was expecting a bigger step up.

    Yeah, disappointing. Ludicrous price for a re-badged g27. Still 900 degrees ( hoped maybe 1080). And no shifter by default!? :/ . Maybe I should buy another new g27, I wonder how long Logitech will keep making the g27.

    I bought my G27 1,5 year ago in 'like new' state. Can't see swaping it anywhere in few years time - it's probably even more solid than my old logi dfp.
    But if the moment comes I'd go for T300+pedals with clutch and thrustmaster shifter.

    I would bet on that G29 is G27 with more toyish looks. And no shifter.

    think I'd possibly rather look at a T300RS. Yes I know the pedals are ...., but I'm used to those on my DFGT anyway, and wasn't bowled over with the FFB on my mates G27. If only there were places to try such things these days in the U.K.

    I get the feeling this will be Logi's excuse to stop selling PC games perifforals completely...

    • Make only cosmetic changes to product
    • Make product ridiculously expensive
    • Complain about low sales on PC

    I wonder what kind of DIY direct drive you can get for that money? Ok, the servo is the most expensive part, but when using Opensim soft + controller and when you're lucky to get a cheap servo (just a smaller one for the start) from the bay or other source it could be possile.

    But it's just a thing for amateur engineers +.

    Very disappointing to say the least. Logitech didn´t bring anything new, but they pumped the price up that high. They must think that we´re stupid.
