1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Hi guys, I inadvertently started a 40 page thread about clowns who ruin the online experience, so here's a thread for the flipside - drivers you'd recommend as being standout performers. There is another 'good racer callout' thread but I feel it's a little unorganised and nobody wants to trawl through pages of random posts to find people worth racing.

    I'll be updating this post a few times a week with newly mentioned racers so you guys can always come back here and find an easy-to-read list of people worth racing.

    To try and keep some order, I'd like to suggest some sort of rating system based on your own opinions. Everyone has different paces and what an alien might recommend to someone may be no-match for someone of a more casual pace and therefore it's not really any help. Let me know what you suggest. I just think a big list of names from people going "i had a sick race with acjj619 once" isn't really achieving anything.

    Video/Screenshot evidence would be ideal, or some reasoning as to why you'd like to submit that racer.

    Guy named "Wolf", fast and considerate.
    Also, +1 on Niki. Came out of the pits on Silverstone and gave me room + cushion to commence my hotlap although he could probably easily collect me even if his car had only 3 tyres.

    Generally, I am always happy and smiling whenever I see someone on their outlap making room for a hotlapper. It takes just a little bit of thought, yet it isn't quite common. Will add more people to this list.

    Aye, I raced Minolin yesterday as well, plus another guy whos name I forgot (german-soundish name...Berghof or something to that extent).

    Raced F40's at Nürburgring Sprint. Both splendid gentlemen...

    One of these days I hope to get mentioned in a thread like this too :)

    It's not even fair to mention my name with @Hagen in the same line or thread. He's a much better simracer, probably the best I know. He taught me everything I know and is still years ahead when it comes to cleverness, maturity and situational awareness.
    And btw. helicorsa is his invention, not mine. So if I'm allowed to name only one person, it's him.

    And @bigbawmcgraw, almost the same. And all of the TAM guys.
    And yes @Ricky Reject , we really had some good laps - would like to race you again.

    But: Hagen, you definitifly need a better online name :)
