1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I am massively off the pace with this challenge - currently 1:37.816. I even checked I was driving the correct car on the correct circuit since I'm so far behind! The oversteer on corner exit is a killer. Only 39 were made and I've crashed everyone. I realise the problem is the idiot behind the wheel but any tuning advice to dull the oversteer?

    I'm also struggling to find the braking points. I carry too much speed, turn the wheel too abruptly and the back end loses traction and I crash yet another 250 GTO. Particularly on the first of the double hair pins, semaforo I think. Very frustrating.

    I had the same problem. My work around was to brake earlier and turn in on the throttle. Trail braking with this car, for me at least, is problematic.

    I don't have the replay of my 1:28.550 lap, but here's the 1:28.7. Not a perfect lap (especially screwed up the right-left section at 0:33, first entry too late, had some space left on the kerb, then too early into the left turn and bumped off the kerb), but maybe will help some of you.



    Oversteer is the way to drive this car, especially under braking. If you feel like it's too hard to control under throttle, you can try longer gear ratios. This will help with traction but I haven't tried them and I suspect they will be slower. Locking rear wheels (I use 57 BB) helps with the turn in, drive it gently and you will understeer and lose time. A lot of time can be gained that way in the left hairpin, same with double right in the beginning. Just don't overdo it or you will spin ;), you can use left foot to brake in those turns where you don't have to downshift (if you have the clutch, I don't so I'm at advantage here) and help to stabilize the rear with some throttle. You have to use brakes and throttle to help it turn around the corner, not only steering wheel. Modulation of both pedals is more needed than in other cars. That's always tricky with these vintage cars, most of them have to be driven in a little slide, enough to make it turn, but not too much to not make it a big drift that will cost you time.

    Here's the setup I'm using, I'm not sure if pressures are totally perfect. Adjusted them from another track setup and forgot to check:
    FL - 33psi, FR - 35
    RL - 31 RR - 33
    Camber - 0
    Toe - 8
    Brake Bias - 57
    Brake Power - 100
    ARB - 2
    Wheel rate F/R - 36/22
    Ride height on minimum F/R.

    Much practice needed tho
