1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

A few thoughts/complains about the game!

    • When in hotlap mode, if you press 'restart' (in order to get back to the starting position) it will erase your lap times. As in, I can no longer see what my best time was.
    • Mildly relate, but I want to be able to select the split time to be compared to my best time (the ghost) as opposed to since I last pressed restart.
    • There's no easy way to see all my best lap times for each car! Or a good lap time section in general. OR a way to compare with my steam friends! What about leaderboards? :D
    • Speaking of sharing, I would love to be easily able to share car setups.
    • No auto replay option. I'd love it if i could chose the directory too.
    • Better deadzone controls...I'm used to rFactor's deadzone controls, they're much better than just a single arbitrary control.
    • Speaking of controls, better explanation of all of the control options!
    • Why can't I change my settings in game. Graphics/control/audio options are essential in game.
    • Can't adjust assists in game.

    This is just meant to be a bit of constructive criticism/feedback. The game is bloody brilliant. Looking forward to upcoming updates. :)

    1. its normal - best time is seeable in the menu
    2. You can see all splittimes in your box - under setup

    the management of pénalty in version 1.4.1 is too strict!! it is enough to have a wheel which touches the earth (Imola) lightly!!! and hop pénalty 5 seconds!!! completely unreal!!! rules want two wheels to owe obligatoirment to stay on the lane, as long as it is case, he does not have has penalize there!! anyway if you go out excessively of the lane, you waste time and you penalize all alone!! the live time of RSR manages perfectly the rules of except lane ,useless to top it up!! lol

    I am personellement completely fine to penalize except lane, I viewed some replays of hot lap, or the pilots are completely out of circuit!! with cut chicanes, etc etc!!! rules owe etre respected, but to correspond has what is played in reality

    1. Which menu? I shouldn't really have to leave the game to see the best time I've sat in a session. Maybe a better way to return to the original hotlap starting position without wiping session times would be good.

    4. I would personally love an 'in game' way of sharing. Maybe uploading to steam workshop?
    5. And I personally don't like the fact that I have to push 'save replay' whenever I want the replay. An automatic option would be nice for me, that's all i'm saying.
    6. I shouldn't really have to edit a .cfg file in order to set deadzones. And even then I can't see the effect it has until I load up the game, then load an event. rFactor does this very well.
    7. You shouldn't have to Google or forum search.. An ingame tool tip explanation would be great.
    8. Just because they run 2 exe files doesn't mean only one of them should be able to edit the settings. Virtually all other games let you do it in game. But if it's a limitation of the engine I can understand. The engine runs beeeeaaaauuuutttiiifful. Such optimization. Wow fast.

    i would love to be able to select a ghost i want to drive against - if not possible the best thing would be to have the ghost of your best laptime not the ghost of the last sessions as it si now - i agree with the OP on this
