1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I'm no alien either but one thing i noticed is that if i drive one track with same car i can get pretty close lap times of alien within a week.
    Best thing to do is just drive the sh*t out of the given car and track combo and once you achieve a good lap you can do it next time as well good luck mate.

    Yes that is helpful too but for some people such as myself i just achieve good enough lap times with constant practice and experimentation more
    depending on feeling.
    Maybe one day i will learn how use it lol.

    I have had a VERY quick look through it last week, you can get the basics out of it fairly quickly. If you have data from a quick lap to compare it’s interesting to see the differences.

    Plus the track map data looks really cool :)

    I raced against AI on Spa 2019 version, it was around 5 sec slower than the rest of the AI cars. I tried racing it on Zolder 2018 against other 2019 cars and I was 1-1,5 sec slower than most of the pack. I also did a race on Zandvoort and it was around 1 sec slower than any car. I don't remember the laptimes (and I'm a pretty meh driver), only the deltas and that car feels slower anyways. I didn't have time to test all of the tracks yet, but the AI is very slow in that car regardless, always finishing last.

    You can go to 2019 if you hit 88mph in Zandvoort 2018 on the main straight, it's easy in a GT3 car.

    I was in the 22s at Spa for a while then kept chipping away after watching videos.

    in the low 19s now and my telemetry says I could go a lot quicker.

    so I stopped obsessing with that track and just started racing other tracks.

    now I’m just quicker overall.

    I must admit that I'm terribly slow when hearing those 2:18-ish laptimes.
    My best is 2:20.186...average is end of 2:20...and I really cannot see where to gain time.

    The thing is once you do a 2:17 you start to rack your brain on how the hell you're going to get in the 2:16's.. And round and round you go.. Seen a few boys here post videos with a mid 2:16. I'm sure they will crack a 2:15 if they haven't already.. Chasing laptimes is fun but has also contributed to my madness.. :confused::D

    My main issue is that i know where i'm losing time compared to the aliens thanks to the split times...
    T1 i'm about 0.3 seconds slower
    T3 i'm about 0.4 seconds slower
    T2 i'm massively 1.2/1.4 seconds slower

    If we had some ghosts from massively fast guys i could try and study better what i'm doing so much wrong :p

    Have you tried the motec telemetry software?

    learn to use it and at the very least you can see your best rolling lap. Your eclectic time will certainly give you food for thought.

    Also, I don't understand why some 24h liveries are available in practice mode etc. and some aren't...?
