1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Sorry but don't understand the logic in announcing a DLC which might be a year away, a new game yes but a DLC..

I think it’s a great idea....a 12 month road map of the direction the game is heading saves speculation and false expectations and more importantly, gives confidence to the community of the on-going support and development of the game, this will maintain interest from current users and generate new interest and hype for those that are yet to jump on board.

I’m really pleased with the direction ACC is heading in and long may it continue

"new driver/car personalization choices" - what is that exactly?

Winter isnt 12 months away, its the end of Winter now in the north so that means the end of next winter is 6 months away. ;) Also winter starts soon in the south but clearly they dont mean that as they barely know they have users down here. :p

Not announcing anything would be much worse then announcing their plans over the next 6 months or so. Still some people complain about these announcements yet would complain more if there was nothing.

How so? o_O It's not a good way of describing the release window, period. Write Q1 2021 and everyone world-wide knows exactly what is meant.

  7. Kunos: teases three pieces of dlc at start of year
Simracers: Why you have to be so secretive and not give us info?
Kunos: here is ITGC dlc; GT4 and British GT coming soon
Simracers: Why you gotta announce things that are so far in the future?

    --------------
GT4 should be cool, new tracks are always welcome. Hopefully cross platform play will be a thing with the console release. Still hoping to see American tracks someday.
    Good job Kunos!

It may even come sooner as isnt
Is Laguna Seca in America? but its only one track not tracks. If the console release does well and SRO survives the flu then its quite likely that there will be Asian and US series added at some point. GT4 shows they are also likely to go into other series so after gt4 and gt3 if there are more DLC's then its quite likely another class will be added.

If they force everyone to lock themselves in the basement then the real 2020 season could be a virtual one. :D

It's not a flu. Flu like symptoms but the mortality rate is well above 0.1 which is what the flu is. It's approx. 10 - 20 times that.

No matter how old I get - I will never understand why people always complain.
Are you so negative in your families or at work or with your other hobbies, always looking for mistakes? o_O

Here Kunos / 505 communicates openly, honestly and kindly and then such comments come - I will definitely have to learn to take this salty community properly

So happy with the latest road map (is it winter yet??? I want it all now!! Haha)
Hopefully there will be plenty of smaller but good updates along the way.
At first I thought everything seems a long way off but the road map is on the same scale as Dirt 2.0 this time last year and all that has been and gone already.
ACC is worth the wait, for me personally it has totally taken over from Iracing and I just cannot go back to the outdated poor physics no matter how slick the online setup is. ACC is true new age/era of racing game that's incredibly complex behind the scenes. This means it takes time to have a quality product produced, give me quality over quantity any day!

In my opinion the virus is totally over hyped fake news created by the media which is fuelling unnecessary panic.
People dont die from the virus, they die from underlying health issues they already had (if they got the flu they would of died too). If we panicked about everything that could "kill" us we would never move.
Sure stay clean and hygienic but you should be doing that anyway, people are acting like its nuclear fall out.

first and last post on this.. don't even bother to try and bait me on this ;)

According to various sources, around 50,000 die from flu each year in the US alone and some 300,000 to 650,000 worldwide whilst millions are infected.. I do not see this level of hysteria and restrictions when it comes to those sorts of numbers so please ask yourself why now and why so swiftly..? what a nice way to start off the 20's and once again lets all enjoy the global recession to come and whatever other "solutions" are forced upon us all..

    Go Danny Ric!
