1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Its a good testing site, but only on minecraft.
    DK1 and DK2 are like having fly net before your eyes, if the website is close to the real counterpart.
    Full HD is the minimal resolution needed IMO, but cant wait either^^

    Isnt the release of CV1 planned for 2016 ?
    If yes, we might have luck.
    Intel and AMD will present new CPU's. i hope for 10% more power.
    New Ram, but actually its only more expensive but not better at all.
    nv and amd will release 2016 or maybe Q4 2015 their Highend Maxwell aka 880ti or Tonga chips aka 390x.
    As the latest news say that they dont jump on 20nm, but on 16nm finfet the power jump should be higher than expected^^
    All together 2016 will BE the year for a new PC, which can run OR 4K :D

    I think one 780ti or 290x can run already 4k already with 40-60 fps depending on the games.

    I'm highly interested in this! Been waiting for a VR-unit since the days of playing F-18 Hornet on the Amiga and watching The Lawnmower Man on VHS...

    Is the CV1 the first consumer version? I heard release was set to late 2014 or early 2015?

    That site does a good job showing the improvement that low-persistence makes, but don't take the resolution stuff too seriously, especially since we're all looking at it with different displays.

    They've also said that they are planning on releasing in 2015. Probably later 2015, but they've said nothing about 2016, although its not impossible it gets delayed til then.

    Well, for the time Valve releases their open VR headset I hope I have a newer graphics card (and I have already a GTX 770).

    It's only 1/4 more pixels than triple monitors... less if you run 16:10 like I do (my displays are 7 million pixels, a 4k is 8.3 million for the moment) maxing out settings might be hard since you want really steady FPS on VR, but as long as you're willing to live with less AA/AO/etc. then you can get a pretty big resolution.


    Personally I'd be happy with 2560x1440 if that's what CV1 comes with... but I'm always willing to settle if it drops the price.

    I am waiting for CV1, but in meantime I am enjoing tripple 42" with 780sli, I hope it will be enough for CV1 too( in worst case I will invest to 880 sli)

    Any Highend card in sli/crossfire can do this quite well.
