1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Hey guys!

Try mines from the sig. It's pretty much great visually!(but with HDR effect on you just need to lower it a bit with PgDown every time you start the new session).
P.S: nvidia inspector is a standalone freeware software, just google it.

Tv settings can make a difference too. Contrast & sharpness quite high give the game a more realistic out look combined with "cooler" setting color.

Okay my computer specs are as follows:

i7-3770k overclocked to 4.5Ghz, NVIDIA GTX 680 FTW (4GB Ram), 16GB System RAM, Windows 7 64bit Ultimate, running on 30" Apple Cinema Display @ 2560x1600.

Is there a guide somewhere on how to set this game up properly for the best quality graphics? I have nvidia inspector installed, but am confused on what settings to use. There are in-game settings and then the nvidia inspector settings.

Would appreciate if someone can walk me through on what to do. I already have the in-game settings pretty much set to max, but do I need to set anything in nvidia inspector or can I just use the in-game settings alone or do I use both?

Definitely try downsampling like others have pointed out. I play downsampled from 1440p with 2x MSAA and take my screenshots downsampled from 4K resolution: http://www.flickr.com/photos/15539352@N02/sets/72157638920256674/
The most playable settings for me is 1440p and everything on high except the cube maps. As long as I keep them on low and keep the faces per frame at 3 or so it looks good and I get decent FPS.

Ok, my config is similar to yours:)
Ingame: FPS limiter 90, 4x AA, 8x AF, Fast AA - OFF, Vsync OFF, Speedblur OFF, Cubemaps LOW, Faces 6 (the rest - MAX settings).
Nvidia Nspector: Sparse Grid Supersampling 2x, Prerendered Frames 1.

I run at 90fps, no lag, and next to no jaggies.

downsampling definitely makes the game look better, and going back to 1920x1080 seems a bit flat and without contrast. Only problem is that any apps text on a not-too-large screen becomes pretty hard to read. If I am just driving for fun, I'll downsample, but if I am hotlapping or working on improving my time on a track and need some info, I'll use 1920x1080.

Titan, can handle pretty much whatever you want to throw at it.

When you say down sampling are you talking about resolution and what res do you use ?

  21. mangal

    mangal Hardcore Simmer

That's right. The NVIDIA control panel allows you to set custom resolutions that are bigger than your monitor and can have the GPU downsample before it hits the monitor. These bigger resolutions will then become available within AC. I've set up 2560x1440 as well as 2880x1620, but others will work as long as you match aspect ratio. Test the new resolution first within the NVIDIA CP, to make sure you get a picture, though.
