Explanation on Gearshift debounce/Combine keyboard

Hi all,

I think all of these are related to gamepad/keyboards settings but would you know what each of them actually do?

TOOLTIP_GEARSHIFT_DEBOUNCE=Prevent accidental gearshifts due to faulty hardware
GEAR_SHIFT_DEBOUNCING=Gear Shift Debouncing
TOOLTIP_COMBINE_KEYBOARD=Allow concurrent activation of controls mapped to both buttons and keyboard
COMBINE_WITH_KEYBOARD_INPUT=Combine with keyboard input

I have to be honest, it all sounds greek to me, das ist mir Spanish, c'est du chinois!

Gear Shift Debouncing
Sometimes the wires in a wheel for shifting get damaged or "crossed". When you pull the paddle the wheel sends 2 signals to the game resulting in a double upshift or double upshift. With debouncing enabled the game will not "read" the second signal and you won't double shift. (Also good for twitchy trigger fingers.)

Combine Keyboard
Allows you to use the buttons on the keyboard as well as buttons on your wheel during the same session. For example, when it is enabled you can press Button 4 on you wheel to look left, or you can press Q on the keyboard to look left. With this option disabled you cannot do what I said above.
