1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

How do you set ride height ?

More or less yes. A general rule of thumb for GT cars is to set the height difference at a standstill to about 15mm to 20 mm with the rear higher.

About not being able to add negative t0e, the BMW Z4 GT3 for example have no negative toe in the sim. Im no expert but i thought a car like that actually used negative toe from time to time depending on track? Maybe im wrong (wouldnt be the first time).

No worries. Negative and positive toe is present in the car.

I cant get negative toe in the sim on that car (and many others). Goes from "0" and up. I cant go below "0".

EDIT: Sorry saw the pic now, but it shows the same. And only slight negative toe on RF but positive on the rest?

When it says "negative" it is referring to the car, not the slider. (In the case of the Toe setting)

Oookey, im sure you're right but i dont really get it.

EDIT: Ok i see it now... So i have to raise the toe value to see negatie value.

I think a bunch of these tooltips arent good. They say to raise or lower when its the opposite. Might be language translation thing. :)

But it's a meaningless way because the tyre alignment -camber and toe- is completely related to its suspension, so floating value based on its ride height or so on. And the real life way to control the toe/camber is just actually screwing or unscrewing so I think the way AC does is rather quite reasonable.:)

  8. It is even better than that: the void causes a huge downforce and as you pointed out, without the price of drag. I read somewhere that the groundeffect creates more downforce than the rest of the car together.

I seem to have a liitle bit different approach though, I compensate more or less wing by stiffening or softening the suspension and adjust the ride height to keep the bottom of the car of the asphalt in medium speed corners. As you lose the effect of your wing, you need all the groundeffect you can get. In even lower speed corners, you simply have to rely on your dempers...

Good topic ! Found some new sources of information... :)

    Agreed... :)

But then what i said was because i couldn't see/didn't notice the realtime changes to the right. o_O:eek::oops::rolleyes::D
