Kunos a modern FWD touring car maybe?

Already told you per PM, but, it's a great car for sure, and surely one of the best, if not THE best mod car i've ever driven. Your real life driver was convinced too then?

BTW, i don't know if that came over obvious enough, but, whenever i criticize anything about the sim, it's subtleties. I don't think any of the known and popular sims is way off. There are differences though. In the general physics, the tire physics, and, especially, in the FFB. For example, AC's FFB is completely different to rFactor's, and iRacing's, so, already that makes comparing difficult. I do feel like some people here (just like in the forums of the other sims...) are a bit quick though to feel treaded on their foot, when you criticize certain aspects of the sim. I mean, seriously, why do we drive sims, if we wouldn't care about the last touch of realism?

1000% agree with you mate. None of these flippin games are perfect.

 

And there never will be, you cannot provide for everybody's taste, you have to dabble / test / give what you think will suite all, and tbf to Kunos, they have given us a right mixture, and finally decent FWD cars, but there still seems to be the focus on the super / hyper powered cars.

Sometimes it's nice to go back to your roots.....HINT KUNOS.....the single seater you did for Netcar Pro

 

Kunos should really think about a TCR-License!
A growing racing series with the TCR-International, TCR-Benelux, TCR-Germany, TCR-Asia, TCR-Italy, TCR-Baltic, TCR-Iberica, TCR-Spain, TCR-Portugal, TCR-Scandinavian, TCR-Russia and TCR-Class in VLN at Nordschleife and TCR-Class in 24H at Nordschleife.

 

Yes, well. General people in this thread, ie: Me, don't have to defend the game as 'perfection' as I know and understand that is will never be the epitome of driving simulation. However, I did have a disagreement with your statement that the TT did not handle like the Touring car in your vid.

I'm not emotionally attached here, just a mere observer.

 

And the second person who feels adressed, when i did not adress him. You neither acted passively-aggressive like some others did, nor do i think you're being very subjective, rather objective. And i really don't have an issue to discuss, when people stick to objectivity. As it seems like i tend to get misunderstood, i will rest my case now though. And say that i just had some great races with the TT Cup on a public server, which were loads of fun, also from a driving perspective. This car really makes for great races. I still do think the handling may be a little off though (in general). But, i'm really not a black/white kind of person, and surely wouldn't quit AC, because of such a minor point of critic. As far as i'm concerned, as MsportDan pointed out, no sim is perfect. They all have their flaws, also from a physics point of view, i'm sure.

 

I don't really se the point in series licences, it just seems like extra expense. As with GT3/4/E you can licence the cars individually from the manufacturers as they are retail items.

The BTCC is a bit different as the cars are individually converted from road cars by tuning companies/race teams.

 

+1: this series is on the rise and maybe still rather affordable

 

given how fun TCR seems to be and its rising popularity across manufacturers it could be perfect time to try to jump in that train

FWD cars can easily oversteer, it depends on the car, the setup, the driver, the circuit etc.

Yep. Watch any given BTCC race and you're likely to see FWD cars at totally ridiculous angles of sideways, and then the driver just straightens it up and keeps on going like nothing ever happened.

 

sure ... mostly lift of or just "light rear" oversteer but easy to do, easier to catch ....

 

I've had some massive oversteer moments braking into Red Bull Mobile corner at RBR National in the 500 Assetto Corse!!
