1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I think it would be in your best interest to provide some form of development roadmap to your customers, so we have an idea of what priorities are currently in your focus. Currently, there are numerous threads for requests, ideas, complaints etc, and I think it stems from the fact that we have no idea what is being worked on currently, what's planned to be worked on, or even if certain things will ever be worked on.

    Clarity in all stages of development such as that of AC is vital for success and for 'keeping the peace'.

    Whilst I appreciate roadmaps are an evolutionary and ever changing list, having at least an idea of where the direction, focus and energy of development is currently going and will be going in the future, would help keep us customers informed, and should help us to provide you more constructive criticism and support. It would help us focus our energy reporting issues that you are currently working on, instead of things that aren't currently.

    As an example, SOE have been excellent at providing a road map for the progress of PS2, and have even had votes on what should be the development focus next. This gives the end users the content/fixes they want or feel important on a majority scale.

    For example, I think many would agree that for us, a working flag system and better penalty system would be much better than say, new shaders or sounds. That's not to say they are not important, but they are probably less important than the two suggestions above for example.

    Again I appreciate that it's not always possible to provide full details and that often plans need to change to ensure the bigger project and goals are met, but it would certainly go a long way to appease our need to know.

    So, I implore you to consider formulating some form of roadmap to we can all look forward to the future development of AC.

    Nice cars everywhere!!

    I can see here that the Ruf is not abandoned but rather delayed to an unknown date. Can I ask you where did you find this information?
    The only thing I could find about this was that they simply replaced the Ruf by the BMW when they listed the Dreampack DLC cars in the Lamborghini licence announcement.

    That's the only reason I placed the Ruf on the unknown release section. All info is based on the latest which is known. If you find anything about the ruf being in there instead of the BMW, let me know and I'll change it! :)

    in fact I was a little lost between various announcements, surprises, anticipations, delays, dlc, etc. etc.

    In addition to tease a little our (already thoroughly delirious :p) fantasy ...
    I count 38... the Bosses talk about 50 cars that will be released this year ...
    What will the other 12 ?! :cool:


    P.S. At this point add the tracks as well, in order to have a comprehensive picture of "what lies ahead" ;)

    There may be some explanation next week, when details about the DLC are revealed. Personally im fine with the change, and prefer BMWs over the Porsches, but it would be nice to know what happened to the Ruf.

    Also added the Audi R8 LMS (GT3) to the list. Did some research and it'll be in the game 100% sure.

    Yeah, Marco dropped something about it, same with the R18 E-tron but it hasn't been official so I'm keeping it under that section until we're 100% sure :)

    Nice idea.
    That's why it would be good if when someone comes up with a car/track news could also come up with the source on it. Like with the Ford GT GT3 mentioned above (not saying it's hasn't been mentioned by someone from KS). Otherwise it may turn out into another wishlist thread soon.
