XB1 Private lobby, what is missing ??

Thanks kunos x the great job done .. at the same time you can pick up ideas to improve room options, .. for a future !!

In my opinion, in the help selection menu .. they might add the option:
Change: Manual / automatic
Trajectory: Yes / no / only curves
Visual: Home / Free

Secondo me , nel menù della selezione aiuti ..si potrebbe aggiungere l'opzione :
Cambio : Manuale /automatico
Traiettoria : Si / no /solo curve
Visuale : Abitacolo /libera

 

Who ever sets up the private lobby should become the host who controls the privite lobby.
He should have the ability to start the practice session, then qualifying, then the race. At the moment it just goes from one to the other.

There definitely should be a break between qualifying and the race where players can alter there fuel levels.

 

In the sessions I have been in so far it has been a little unclear exactly what is happening in the progression between sessions. You can set the time to elapse between each session but there is no timer displayed unless you are sitting on the grid waiting. Last night one guy at least was left on the grid because he was in the qualifying results screen and didn't realise he had to select Drive to go to the grid. Maybe sending everyone to the grid a set number of seconds before the race starts would be an idea.

 

I missed the start of a race last night, I had to go for a toilet break. It's a private lobby, id imagine that all people involved would be in party chat so starting when everyone is ready isn't a issue. Forza and p cars the host starts the sessions.

Your quite right as well about the timer, unless your on the grid you ain't got a clue when race is starting.

The private lobby's have transformed the game though, they just need tweaking a little bit to make it perfect, including the ping issues.

 

Totally agree the update has made it a new game as far as I am concerned. We've already got a series ready to go where I race so just need to iron out a few of the uncertain things so that everyone is on the same page and knows exactly what to do to get to the grid together and not leave anyone behind lol.

I just hope the button mapping issue is next on the agenda as that is something that needs addressing as far as I am concerned, especially for the look back option. I had the virtual mirror on last night but it has too much of a blind spot and I a sure is a bit of a resource hog as well, I don't need to see behind me all the time just now and then to check the position of cars round me.

 

Was confirmed two months ago to be added on the next update.
