1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I did.

    As it is pretty recent that Sony does not allow the developers to support Fanatec anymore, and the disc version is an older build, it seems logical they take out support with the day one patch. Kunos has stated Fanatec will not work with the game at release. With these facts you can expect this. As I said: the possibility is there, don't act surprised if that happens.....

    I try to translate what´s happend in the pcars-forum.de, the German Pcars Community.

    A User called Fanatec, and they say, that they´re in proceeding with Sony to get a new License, but they can´t say how long it takes. If they get a new License, they release a FW update for the Wheels and everything is working. Hopefully they come to an Agreement very quick.

    Yeah it is for sure Fanatec is trying to resolve the issue with Sony. As said before: Sony has suddenly changed their policy on licensing. But if it will a new base, a ps4 licenced wheel or just a firmware update is not clear. All speculation.

    anyway tommorow sony can change licencing for thrustmaster - and sujest us to by another wheel or somthing ...

    The game came in today and now I can't play it (Fanatec user)! This is freakin' me out... Who's going to pay my game? Unbelieveable. I don't care who's fault this is, I was told it would work with Fanatec, and now I want this fixed. ASAP!

    There's every chance Fanatec dropped the ball somewhere and they're the ones too cheap to renegotiate properly with Sony.

    I'm a CSWB V2 user but even I wonder whether Fanatec have been com,pletely honest with us.

    Oh and I wouldn't expect this to necessarily get fixed. It may never.

    That is something we need to prepare for.

    sony have decided they only want licensed products on ps4 they are not favouring thrustmaster. Logitec have a licence and thrustmaster have one, for some reason fanatec didnt bother probably because developers could still support their products but now sony moved the goalposts. its the whole reason fanatec released the hub for xbox one too
