1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

T500 randomly takes control over games with no wheel support

    Sorry didn't know where to put this, as it's not AC tech support related...

    But I have T500 RS always plugged to PC. Sometimes in a non-driving game it starts suddenly pulling up (in FPS game character will turn up to look at sky) and only way to stop this seems to be disconnecting USB. Happens on more than 1 game. Any way to fix/prevent this, without unplugging the T50o? It's very random, you can play fine a moment before, and then after 30 minutes or so, suddenly starts to pull up. Or almost instantly after starting the game, varies. Doesn't stop until unplugging USB.

    Apparently it also starts to see wheel buttons as Gamepad buttons (paddle shifters etc. trigger actions in the game)

    Had this problem on my old PC too, with completely different hardware (and same wheel). Never figured it out..

    Yeah happens to me too with shooters. I just take the power cord off. I don't have problems as long as there's no power in the wheel, no need to disconnect usb.

    I guess it just detects it as gamepad. But what doesn't make sense to me, is that usually it doesn't and it suddenly may happen, without the user doing any changes into connected peripherals. I have xbox type gamepad connected usually too, when this happens the wheel overrides that as well, while they both can be used to control the game.

    Welp... I guess need to put the power cord more accessible. If it's only T500, maybe something with the drivers

    Do you have independently plugged pedals? I didn't ever see a problem with the wheel, but since I have the new pedals (because the pedals' axis are in a left/right state).
    There is a small injector called devreoder where you just paste an edited dinput8.dll with a ini file containing the stuff you want to hide to the game exe.

    Works in 80% of the cases, but needs to be done once per game

    Edit: Just noticed they describe the system-wide "installation" in win/system32, but this isn't something I'd recommend
