1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Hello,
Last week I upgraded from the T300 to the T500 (usign the F1 wheel not the one with the screen the older one). In most games like regular Assetto Corsa its been pretty nice and functions fully, yet in ACC the FFB is rough in the corners but the worst is on the straights. A good moment after exiting the corner and drive down a straight longer than my lil pecker a deathly wobble starts. at first its just the Steering wheel nudging right to left and with every Round it gets harsher and harsher (must be how jeep wrangler drivers feel), till I brake and the FFB "kinda stalls" (Force is basically nill but u can "feel" the Tension), just to sling my steering wheel around with the might of hulk into the corner.
Its not even stoppable cuz if i try to just hold the steering wheel with the Power of Friendship, the FFB again "Stalls" and waits, just to pounce on any sign of me easing off and slangs the car out of the track.
I could ignore it by keeping the FFB down but thats not why I bought this bloddy fancy Circle Turner.

The steering is one to one with the game all good there but the T500 must be on some Substances the way it couldnt keep it straight.

Last Night i was able to get it to work properly but just for one stint of Hotlap and when I went back into the Garage and back on Track the shenanigans started again and I have not been able to replicate that sliver of Success.

I suspect its has something to do with the firmware, as the game did notify me that my Wheels firmware is old even thoug i just updated it recently to the newest version.

I tried to lower the FFB Force to around 30% but increase the minimum Force to a max of 15% to bridge the lost FFB, it "works", as i now can overpower most of the wobbles but those at the longest straights still are impossible to overcome.

The time I got it right I adjusted the FFB over the computer putting everything to 0% except of Constant FFB, but I think that was irrelevant as it straight up ignored it a stint later (dint close, disconnect and reconnect anything).

So here I am and if u can help me please do

I had a T500 for a long time, and didn't experience that. In the control panel, leave damper at 100% too, so that the game can control how much damping to use. Set dynamic damping to 100% as well in game. The oscillations sound like a damping problem. You could try adding a little (say 10%) of the other damping (I'm not at my computer now, so I can't remember exactly what it's called).

I had a lot of issues with getting the FFB feeling right in ACC vs regular AC on a T300
For us console gamers, the first thing we need to do is update the wheel firmware on the PC, it sounds more like a firmware issue than anything else
But do you have the "Min Force" turneed on anything more than 0? if so, make that 0
This is an artificial force the game puts through the wheel to make it heavier at teh center, but only needed for wheels such as G29.
Do not use Min Force on a Belt drive like the T300/500

And my second bit of advice, is don't change any of the settings in the PC control panel, despite what the internet says.
You'll make it OK for one game, and ruin it for others, unless you like connecting to PC and changing that config every time when swapping games.

Min Force is not an artificial force at the centre of the wheel. It's the minimum force that the game will send to the wheel, as some wheels (non-DD) wheels cannot respond to very low forces i.e. there's no point sending a 2% force to the wheel if the wheel isn't going to move. I used a min force of 4% on my T500, after testing what forces actually caused a movement in the wheel.
