1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    That was one minor little issue. Easily fixed and nothing that indicates the track itself was 'badly built' as a whole.

    Following up on a few post past my COTA one; because they are pure business they have no idea how to cost things so they just guess and it's 100x what's practical... then they piss and moan about why racing is dead in the US... not at all realizing they are a track, built for F1 yes, but that doesn't make them Bernie...

    Taylor Swift probably gave them a huge discount, otherwise she would have cost them most of the budget... I'm personally glad it looked like a really strong turn out for the race... I don't want them to go bust, just to feel enough pain to start listening to other organizers and fans... but if F1 leaves in the next ten years, it's curtains for that track...

    I'm also bitter because I moved to Texas with hopes of racing a lot on COTA as I moved here from CA, where I was racing with SCCA on Laguna seca, Sonoma, Thunder hill, button Willow, Willow springs, etc on any given month... COTA is the only premier track around here, the other tracks are all car club tracks... blah, no thanks. All my track cars are mothballed in a garage at Sonoma :/

    I quite like COTA actually. Just wish it wasnt surrounded by parking lots.

    Track is on iRacing, and it took quite a while to learn it when it first came out. Very tricky.

    Sector 1 has no good references for the corners, many of which you can't see due to elevation changes, after you finally nail it there's that combo between the long right hander followed immediately by a quick left.

    Slow the video down and you'll realise that it's just the sunlight casting shadows of trees, just so happened in an angle that looks like sparks when played at normal speed.
