1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Porsche built so many cars over the years, you can´t make everyone happy, just like with the other brands, too. Porsche gets a more than fair share of cars, I´d love to see some other cars, too, but I´ll be damn happy with what we are indeed getting!

    I´ll need to buy the packs instead of the Season pass, as I don´t have 15€ on my bank account anymore this month (Student, end of the month, just the usual thing... ;) ), so I have an excellent reason to reward Kunos a bit further for putting these cars into the game. And I´ll be glad to do it, as I´ll get hours of fun and joy out of this. 21€ is like 2 cinema visits, and I´m sure I´ll enjoy the DLCs at least 50 times longer.

    First mod section on the official semi-popular simcade title Assetto Corsa, now mods themselves are being victims of the non-exclusive Kunos Simulazioni - Porsche deal. Is that a price that hardcore-pro-elitist-simracers have to pay to see official Porsche cars in another PC game that isn't NFS? AC will have Porsche cars that are just another additional content that you have to pay for! Oh you thought they will be free like tracks for the best sims on the market with dynamic racing line, rain and night? Nope, our trusted source from Kunos told us that they are greedy and they want to sell cars that they had to pay the license for. Our source also told us that all of the Porsche physics are straight C&P from the RUF RT12. Speaking of physics, the newest update for rF2...

    I love that all those rip mods "suddenly" won't work anymore, And a "sound fix" will not be possible either (over at RD there are some people still using those, with "surprising" results)

    You just know that there will still be complaints, cars don't drive as perfect as people imagined (Porsche, duh), don't sound like RaceRoom, not the cars anyone wanted, too many of the same models, too much "Beetle", mods are broken, etc. pp.

    At the end of the day as long-time Porsche fan I'm just happy I can drive these cars in a sim I like...

    Does anybody actually take any notice of anything written at PRiCk ? ;)

    Tears should heave been shed already, mod makers have been given notice of the update to Fmod. It's up to them whether they do anything or not. Personally anything that is going to improve AC further is Ok by me and the audio, particularly internal sounds, is one area that needs a bit of work doing to it :cool:

    I'm pretty sure the goodness will outweigh any niggles and one place I won't be going for any opinions is that crap blog :)
