1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

PS4 UDP app working with Assetto on PS4!!

    Hi!

    I let the other space just like it was.. Didn't modify it.
    I only introduced the IP address from the console, hit the update button and that's it.

    All the rest just like i explained above.

    Thanks for the reply! Didn't know that the "find IP address automatically" worked. .. I just put mine manually :p

    It is working great, but I think there is some missing data for the tyre page, or I just don't get it... the wear of the tyres is not shown.
    Also the Rev counter is not working with all new Porsche models on PS4.
    Hope this get a fix soon

    Interesting...gotta dust of old wireshark and see what data actually being pushed from the game. This is one of the reasons I haven't given up pcars completely. If compatible with vrHive im a lucky dude...

    Would be awesome to have some aplicattion that could perform some of the features AC is missing like: leaderboards or button mapping.

    I tried fast dash, dash panel, hud dash, sim dasboard and vdash. I couldn't make them work.

    If you succeed in decoding the data, I'm interested. I've successfully intercepted them with wireshark but couldn't figure it out.
    If someone can make an apps which can send the data to https://www.ac-leaderboard.com it would be awesome

    First of all: Awesome find @Donnced! Thanks! RevCounter works like a charme, barely noticable delay. I have my PS4 connected via LAN cable, automatic detection worked fine.

    Also tried some other UDP apps, and as expected, Fast Dash, SIM Dashboard, HUD Dash and DashPanel don´t work, most of them require a transmitter app to be installed on the device you run AC on (read: PC), and/or run the data by a server (didn´t really understand why that is necessary? enlighten me?).
    I had higher hopes for RS Dash, from the devs of pCars Dash, which I used quite a lot on Project Cars thanks to its Direct Mode. Sadly there is no direct mode for Assetto Corsa Dash, so no, doesn´t work either :(
    Might be worth contacting Pocket Playground if they can integrate Direct Mode for AC Dash as well, I remember having a nice conversation with them over on the PCars forums.

    edit: I remember now. The guy´s name was Craig Jorgensen. I just now wrote him an email. Will keep you posted if he replies. :D

    Well it's on Kunos then to improve the UDP stream. Although I think the private lobby thing should be more on focus than this...
    Hopefully we will see something like at PCars in the future. The usage of telemetry apps totally changed the immersion on consoles!

    Thx Donnced. After I installed this app I looked a little bit further and just installed another one: SIM DASHBOARD.
    This is a free app (for one dashboard layout with 3 metrics) and you can fully create your own dashboard which can be time consuming. Just give it a try.
    I still have to explore more but it seems to work fine so far with the PS4

    EDIT: @River Ruckus : I tried speed, rpm, gear and that worked fine with AC on PS4 directly UDP. what did not work for you?

    Using SIM DASHBOARD you can also use tyre dirt widget to see how much your tires are dirty if you go off road. Hopefully Kunos will enable full data stream for consoles.

    Sorry, my bad. SIM Dashboard works fine for me as well. I mistook it for a PC only app when it told me to download the transmitter app. Didn´t realize you could decline that and it still works with PS4. That said, with the limited data feed available I still like RevCounter better, looks slicker.

    @HWA91: The app description claims that no plugins or servers are needed, and that the app uses the direct UDP feed. Therefore might work with PS4. Give it a try.

    Sim Dashboard is an Android only app :(. And in ACRDashboard the rev counter is not working on the DLC cars (japanese pack, red pack and all Porsche packs). Hopefully this get fixed by the developer soon :rolleyes:

    I downloaded full version of sim dashboard and setup a really nice custom dash. I used all widgets that Assetto will recognize (not many but still cool). I noticed the app has a share feature but I'm not sure how to use it. I'll get a picture of it when I get home.
